Star metal meteor at a unreachable place

*** A Long time i wait for the star metal shower and if they come, then some star metal metorite are at an unreachable place.
Take a look at the screenshot. So i ask me, how can i harvest this!??

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

Step one. Stand on the meteor.
Step two. Throw demon fire orb at your feet.
Step three. Mine the meteor while you’re standing on top of it.

this i have wont to do, but i can’t place the demon fire orb on the Meteor. that’s the Problem :slight_smile:

use 1 oil arrow + 1 explosive arrow from where you can stand, then climb on top of it and use your pick. :wink:

Bring some stone and wood make some sandstone foundation’s maybe a few ceilings to stand on very easy to harvest them just delete the sandstone after your done.

I use explosive arrows, so I can hit any meteor from a very long range. Then just climb on it - standing on it and mine it right out from under your feet. They really aren’t much trouble after you get used to doing it.

This is a known issue. It has been fixed (partially) in the past. It should get looked into again.

As has been stated by others these instances can absolutely be harvested.

I have encountered this issue about 5 days ago and been unable to break this meteor with explosive arrows.

To me, reaching such meteors is half the fun. Since decay will quickly take care of them, you can make a bunch of sandstone foundations, and place them zig-zagging up the cliff until you’re high enough to fire an explosive arrow at the meteor. Then you can set a foundation below it, climb up to it, and proceed with mining.

Some of the ones that float are fairly amusing.

But as above point out, making small platforms works wounders. I use jars (cause its fun) But exploding arrows do the job at safe distance.

Some meteors are just bugged and won’t break no matter how many kilotons of explosives you apply to them. If two arrows won’t break a meteor, I just move on.

Tip for the “unbreakables” or in general for those who find the pain in butt ones.

They need to be hit on low side in most cases. Any rock thats to low in ground, its really hard to hit it low enough to break it.

Like kapo mentions, if you waste more then 2 hits trying bust it. Move on.
