So starting over in offline single player mode.
Looking for a flat landscape near water.
It can’t be too close to iron ore mines.
Needs to be in the desert.
West of the oasis by the mitra trainer. (South of the den) also east side of oasis in the bottom of the shallow valley is wide spot where you won’t ruin dry wood/branch farming either

No shot but den is one minute run if that. Ore is all around the southern end of the den and coal and sme trees. More ore is west across the desert two minutes away to the red mountains and the pass to the rocknose king. There you can find more ore, and the brimstone is at the salt flats.
If you put a elevator up on the east side of the den where the castle run is on top of the cliff has a space then that whole path is filled with ore leading you to the valley in the highlands
On pve servers I just put all my furnaces on The floor for th elevator because there is so much ore. On east edge of den there’s is also rhinos, and at oasis black rhino and more rhinos

Just build on the river between Tower of Bats and Warren of Degenerates.
That whole area by Tower of Bats is full of iron.
Or you could do by the Den where the Mitra trainer priest is.
No I don’t have anyway of putting the photo here, if you know where the mitral trainer and the den is then you will have no problem finding the locations. Google map of Conan for mitra trainer and boom u have a pic.

The spot by mitts spiral brought up is where i put my camp on offical3510 server it’s perfect for resources an when u use a map to fast travel u just go to brimstone ur a three min run to ur base I love that spot

You can’t just run to the spots mentioned to you in your game to scout them on where to put a base?
You’ve played this game for months, you should know where Tower of Bats and the Mitra Shrine are by now.
This helped me a lot too, I was wondering the same thing. To be fair to Bryan, I had to look up the Tower of Bats. I knew of it but never remembered the name.
Pictures are easier to words. I play other games right now.
Since Conan Exiles are lacking sorcery right now. You know magic.
North of the Black Galleon is a decent spot. You need to run down a ravine to reach the water, but it works.
A spot that is not exactly desert but is fun… There are a few waterfalls that go from the lake surrounding the sanctuary ruins to the savanna area with the elephants and such. Building at the top of the waterfall is quite fun. You are just outside the sandstorm zone but can watch them roll past.

Krbhi I would recommend linking/searching the relevant Official Wiki pages to/for @Bryan_Skull , it’s way easier and gives visual input as well as general and more detailed information.
