Well, I didn’t know where should I post this, so, feel free to move where it belongs.
I’m having a little trouble when buying Conan dlc’s on steam. If I wanna buy the complete edition, its a certain price, but if I select every dlc on the store and add it to the cart, is cheaper, even having more items than the complete edition. Is supposed to be like that? I’m gonna buy it anyway, but I wanted to know if I’m missing something, why is the complete edition expensive?
The prices I see listed, without logging into Steam with my account, are:
Conan Exiles: $15.99
Imperial East DLC: $7.99
Jewel of the West DLC: $7.99
Savage Frontier DLC: $7.99
Seekers of the Dawn DLC: $7.99
Treasures of Turan DLC: $7.99
Riddle of Steel DLC: $5.59
Blood and Sand DLC: $7.99
Debaucheries of Derketo DLC: $7.99
Riders of Hyboria DLC: $9.99
The grand total for that is: $87.50
The price I see for Complete Edition is: $49.99
Given that the Complete Edition does not seem to include the Riddle of Steel, the grand total I noted above would go down to $81.91, which means that the Complete Edition should still save you $31.92, which is exactly what Steam tells me my savings would be.
I don’t recall right now, but something about 2000 uruguayan pesos for the complete edition and 1200 uruguayan pesos for the dlc’s. I already bought the complete edition anyway cause’ I didn’t wanted to wait to play and I was afraid of getting banned if it was some kind of bug and I abuse it lol
Steam has sales extremely often, and yes, the lower price is intended as it is currently on sale, with the standard edition, complete edition and individual DLC all discounted heavily. It is no bug, so if you want to buy, now would be a very good time to do so.
The Complete edition includes the game itself, as well as all DLCs. Depending on whether the game itself is on discount or not, the Complete edition may be more expensive than buying the DLCs individually.
I’m not sure how Steam handles the checkout of the packs that include things you already have, but you definitely won’t see it discounted in the cart, because you have an option to buy it as a gift. People who buy it as a gift need to see the full value in the cart
It depends. Sometimes it works like that, other times not. I think it depends on whether the product in question is seen as a single item (I believe the Complete Edition is) or as a collection of individual items sold together (which is sometimes the case).
