It’s really strange that we don’t have standard cupboards, wardrobes and counter tops for storage. Walls of chests don’t just create lag, they’re ugly too and complete break immersion.
Where is the logic in one ugly cupboard? You’d think most DLC’s would come with the standard furniture types of that style, including stuff you could use to decorate your smithy, armorer, tanner, etc. to look like shops in your little village.
For a game that depends on roleplay to sell it’s DLCs, it’s kinda shocking that it lacks in some of the basics.
I am not much of a collector so i don’t have any walls of chests, just some storage crates and a few chests here and there. That said, i’d have absolutely loved to have things for storage that fit an area or culture better.
It’s much the same for me with the Bar and longer existing Tavern build set. The fact they didn’t make those match is still something that’s lost on me. It’d simply be nice to create a more cohesive environment. The current cupboard is a crude makeshift thing, which is fine.
A plain alternative of better craftsmanship would be quite nice, though.
