Of course , and this is why the prices of bazaar items are what they are cause Funcom is still handling the money aspect of the game , but the dev team doesn’t answer to Funcom directly anymore , Funcom may also set objectives of content and overview all creative aspects for their vision and the lore to be respected. INFLEXION handles the rest
Neither funcom or inflexion are still funcom and inflexion.
When a company gets purchased by a different company… the purchasing company decides how things go. That’s the only reason inflexion is involved in the first place. Tencent said so.
So I’m not so much disagreeing with you… as providing some perspective that how things are structured on corporate documents are not the things that dictate the flow of day to day operations.
Sure but even if Tencent owns Funcom & INFLEXION , they are only setting the business aspect of how much money they have to generate over the cost of production they have nothing to do with how the game works . for that matters conan exiles enhanced is the exact same in china , it hasn’t got a “censored blood reduce” ect special version , so I’m not seing a big influence apart for the change in business model ( from DLC’s to the battle pass + bazaar to the only bazaar ) on that note it’s sad that the battlepass was stoped cause you would buy it and while grinding it you would get back as much as you put crom coins , so that you could buy the next one ect… but it’s not generating more money and it was surely introduced so that the bazaar wouldn’t get too much backlash untill they decide to stop it later while still leaving the bazaar
Maybe… but regardless of bazaar… I want them to fix the bugs. I don’t care who does it, what title they have, or what name is on their paychecks.
