Idk why but i so think having a few flying mounts, no matter what kind of flying creature mount they are, i think having some would just be an awesome idea for a future update, Lmao.
I wouldn’t want this, unless it was somehow lore based. I can’t imagine people trying to pvp flying all around like WoW.

I can it would be awesome. You get knocked off and you fall…to your death. As far as mount types…nothing is better than the bat demons and or jhils for the game.
I guess that’s a fair point, still would be a neat idea nonetheless, lol.
If by “flying mount” you mean the ability to load a horse into a trebuchet and send it hurtling into the distance, then I’m all for it.

I’m strongly anti high fantasy. I would not want this, and Conan lore is, IMO, the best (and most well known) escape for high fantasy antics in WoW, LoTR, and even GoT.

It can if make them super weak
Out Stan it dies
Gets hit arrow can no longer fly for bit
Can’t fly into god bubble
It can only land on certain spots
If dismount in flight you die, it tied into bracelet.
IIRC Joel Bylos said in a dev stream that flying mounts “will never happen”
I think it was a combination of technical issues.
This is not my opinion, this is just a relay of information as I recall it.
How about the flying mounts use the same mechanics as climbing. If you run out of stamina, you fall. If you get hit with any damage, you fall.
Oh it’s a great fun thing to have a flying mount…until you realize its not. then good luck getting to your body in time.
This is definitely something that needs to stay in the realm of modding.
Though I’m not opposed to the suggested change to trebuchet physics.

they always say maps are too small for flying mounts…Maybe in a futur DLC bigger MAP (and if it the only map where flying mounts are available, it will be a significative different mecanic with the others, it seems cool idea)

At one time, you could launch players off the treb. Very early bug fix that happened. We used to shoot each other into the bay of the east jungle whem our island vbase was being raided to ambush from the back lol.

An ex machina indeed, but wouldn’t be too absurd to feasibly see in the exiled lands, given the unnaturally high levels of sorcery in it. Again, I’m not in favor but the lore could go either way
