I would like a flying mount, but it shouldn’t be in the game. I can like the concept of something and also know that it’s a terrible idea. IF they include flying mounts and IF they can get them to work right, then I submit the following:
Flying should consume a crap load of stamina from the mount. Limit flying to short bursts. Also, NO LANCES ON FLYING MOUNTS. We think getting lanced is bad now? When you can see the horse coming? Imagine getting impaled from above.
I dont see it that way I guess. Mounts get you from Point A to Point B faster then by using just your character.
The rest of what you said seems like it comes from the lore, which Ive said I dont know alot so Ill tend to agree with what you say.

As I said before, this is best left to mods. It changes the theme and lore of the game too heavily to be in the non-modded game. This is very much like adding elves, dwarves, and orcs to the game, or even AR15 rifles.
Personally, flying will take away all the dangers in the game since you can fly to any location without worry. Plus, PvP would have a major issue with it. How do you defend a base when you can fly into the center of the base and wreck havoc.
Download Exiles Extreme mod which has flying mounts to use.
Gliding mounts could be cool though. Should still consume a crap load of stamina per second, but since you can’t gain height when gliding, it could probably work. Plus no more falling damage because my horse decided to leap off a rock I had no way of noticing as I plummet about 10ft and get knocked off my horse with no stamina.
for exiles, obelisks pretty much do this. Esp. combined with horses.
Oh, come on. At least suggest an M60 light machine gun. At least there’s some precedent on that.
