I get respecting peoples rights to play and that’s cool and all but we have these ugly giant looking box bases no style all cramped up around A/B-8, the forest zone and along newb river right now there is 30 people on the server.
1 dude has built big 5x10 boats with teleporters in 5-6 places on the map.
Some people have multiple bases ranging from 3-4 and 4 taverns.
I mean building is cool and all but we would all enjoy the game much better if the server had less strain/lag on it and these people building that big generally does not help especially while funcom refuses to get new or improve the current servers.
you’ll even have a single person building an entire town just for themselves.
The purges put a little bit more strain on the server too due to the amount of spawns in spawns in which I think each wave the purge spawns in should have a set number or something like Tier 1 Wave 1 maybe 10-15 npcs and so forth
Also to add on top of that people now have little purge placements since they don’t use their main base which takes up even more server integrity.
Then people only logging in once a week so their stuff doesn’t decay like if you ain’t gonna play just let it go
If I could build where I’d like too and the server wasn’t as laggy I really wouldn’t mind yes I could host my own server but that costs money and I won’t be able to meet people either.
After a few days “playing” with the bar, i can give my thoughts. Don’t forget fellow exile @Scarborough1994 that we the console players don’t have beta and we understand things later than pc players.
So what about if…
Our tavern had it’s own budget.
The more money spend in there the more costumers appear .
The more money we spend, the more items we could buy in our bar, in terms of quantity and quality.
Contract with crafters and place market benches, so other items can be bought from players, like armor pieces or materials.
When our bar-tavern-market be wealthy, then the owner of the clan can actually sell things finally.
I really love this new feature and i can understand why and what trigger dreams and “needs” @Scarborough1994. I agree with your dreams!

Open to the idea but wouldn’t we be producing the stuff?
Better quality ale brings in better quality & Quantity of customers.
The more they spend the more income we get and can purchase other things with.
Would be nice but I’d mostly do things myself than paying somebody else but an AI controlled market would be nice instead of player-sided.
I think this would be better than us putting money in although putting money in would be good if we cba to farm the stuff in that case we can change my 1,2,3 to your 1,2,3 lol but I’m willing to be open-minded to things that make sense.
I think it would be fun to need to stock the bar with drinks and food. I think this was tossed around a bit during beta but perhaps different foods and drinks attract different customers which gives use to actually making things.
I don’t think passive income is really needed at this point in time with the vanilla economy as it is BUT it would be nice if players spending money at your tavern deposited a portion of that to your coffer. Played this weekend with a few people and by the time we were done, I didn’t have any food with me. friend’s base was close so we rode there to split our spoils and I bought a meal from his tavern. It was a nice little option to be able to do but would be cool if he benefited from that (again, more so if he could pick what meals were available).
