Telith's Sorrow not working on thrall (Edit:Fixed)

Game mode: [Online | Multiplayer]
Problem: [ | Bug | Performance | ]
Region: [America]

[When you equip Telith’s Sorrow on a thrall (T4 Fighter) it doesn’t attack. ]

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Equip Telith’s Sorrow on a thrall.
  2. Attack or provoque any mob to attack you.
  3. Wait for the thrall to supposedly defend you.
  4. It doesn’t attack, it just stand right next the mob and you.

Edit: For some reason, after making the thrall fight with only the fist, 20 min or so, it’s kind of “reset”, now it can use the sword.

Thanks. You can close this post. It’s weirdly fixed.

Welcome to the community.

It’s a known issue. Though I don’t think it’s linked to any specific weapon.

Several patches ago, some thralls began having a “preference” for a weapon. For instance, my Black Hand Captain would slice and dice with a pike, but I gave him a truncheon and he just stood there. Notice I speak of him in past tense.

When they come out of the wheel, look at their default weapon. If it’s a pike, you may need to keep them with a 2-hander. If they came out with a 1-handed weapon, often a two-hander will not work, and they’ll just stand there watching you get beaten up. Try Telith’s Lament on this thrall, and then try Sorrow on a thrall who came out with a Greatsword or pike.

This thrall can use any two handed sword, pike, axe what ever I give him except for Telith’s Sorrow. So, I don’t think what you are saying about “thrall’s preference” is correct.

It looks like a bug with that particular weapon.
