Both versions probably need to be in the same steam folder. Works perfectly for me. If you right-click on it in steam and select properties then the local files tab you can move the game to the same folder. All you are doing is telling steam to load the game from a different folder under the live versions app id.
Testlive Server are working yes or not?

, Conan Exiles (Live) and Testlive Client versions of the game must be in the same folder. I had them in two different folders and Steam downloaded the game a second time but called it Testlive Client (although it was the usual version).
I ended up having three versions of Conan Exiles (2 Live + 1 Testlive) installed on my computer
but Steam cannot see one at all. 
Probably later I will try to enter Testlive again according to your workaround, unless the official hotfix appears sooner.

Edit: I checked @Firespark81 way it works, but the game and the Testlive version must be in one Steam folder. 
Seems to be an issue with the Argossean Artisans worktable and perhaps more of the Argossean items. Tried to place a candle on the table and it would not align with the table top, however it would align with the posts at the back edge of the table.
Noticed some issues with elevators, you will hit the control lever and periodically they will make the noise like they are moving but not move, also pulling the skull chain does not always activate the elevator even though the chain moves. When an elevator is very high it is difficult to tell if it is moving so this results in a wasted time which can be problematic for someone dragging a thrall with a binding that has limited time remaining.
There are still rhinos in which the player can get stuck.

Reproduction:
- Order followers to fight a rhino.
- Stand as a player on the rhino’s side.
- Order followers to stop.
- When the player starts attacking the rhino…
- …rhino turns around (fast), stuck the player in his mesh.
- A player can stuck into a rhinoceros mesh during his charge attack if there is a solid object behind the player.

A rhino can push a follower into the ground.
- Using the Return command solves the problem.
The horse and follower maintain a greater distance on flat ground. However, when the player goes higher, the distance between them drastically decreases.
- If horse or follower comes to the player (independently) from a different height of ground, he stops very close.
BONUS ( Testlive and Live version )
- Horse eats human flesh, but doesn’t get the regeneration effect.
- Horse can eat almost anything that is edible (like a goat
), but there is no benefit to it.
- Sitting in the saddle, you cannot consume sweet sweet honey.

This is all sounding great but please keep doing more testing on gods. Hard to test on a test server what we are all in for. People with 100’s of body vaulted gods just waiting to wipe out servers soon as gods get turned back on.
I note that I tested avatars only in Singleplayer mode. ![]()
- In Singleplayer summoning time it’s still 20 seconds. During this time, even The Red Mother
could not kill me.
Other informations:
- The True Name of [god-name] token can be made by priest T3 or T4, but only after restarting the game. When the priest is placed on the temple, the option to create a token is not displayed, until you reset the game.
- If the avatar destroys the building on which the player (who called him) stands… the player levitates in the air.
- An avatar by its very appearance kills The Red Mother. It destroys massive high tier buildings without any problem.
Among other amazing changes, the fact that the Denuvo was removed is probably my favorite, it won’t plague this amazing game anymore and many PCs will be able to run it so much better. Good call Funcom!
Good changes , if you make somtine more for player charakter like ads new perks , increase lvl limit , or add some more way to growth after lvl 60 then it will be much bether then it is now .

I tried a manual install of the “Offline Mode” mod and it still didn’t work for me. Same error message. Unable to start a new solo game.
Are you trying it through the steam beta branch or the separate client? I can play just fine with the steam beta
No, I put the mod file in a folder in the testlive subdirectory. I just got done playing my regular game on the main client. Was going to set up the beta branch, but I wanted to post a reply about the offline mod first.
Good looking out @Jimbo my standalone one wasnt working, ill try swapping to the beta.
Pleas fix also mammoth following. Like rhino you can be stucked inside him 
I have tried multiple times to log in to testlive. I get failed to connect to Funcom Servers. I had no problems pre REV2. The 5-29 patch won’t let me access anything to do with testlive, SP or Online servers, Live version loads fine.
The testlive standalone client has that as a known issue. Install the steam beta branch of the live version to access testlive
Uhhhh yeah, console gamer here,only has CE on PC to look at back end stuff. Where do i find the steam beta branch?
Through steam, right click on the live version and go to properties. Navigate over to the betas tab on the top, and then opt into the testlive via there. It’ll update your base game into the testlive directly, instead of being a separate client so be warned it may cause harm to your SP world on reverting back
