Honestly I did not purchase anything (and probably will not) because I would be happier with fixing the content already in the game rather than addig new stuff (and new bugs) to the game, but f**k this looks amazing!
The lighting is perfect, the building set is nice.
Absolutely understandable, rolee9309!
My opinion on the big picture here: One thing should by no means exclude the other. Constant fixing of bugs definitely remains a priority concern.
However, we should look at the matter realistically:
If Funcom doesn’t constantly generate new paid content that finds a minimum purchase and thus secure a minimum level of constant income, there will be no more Conan Exiles in the long term.

Not to mention the often-repeated point that content creators and bug fixers are often not mutually interchangeable. You can’t just throw the people who create graphical assets into combing through millions of lines of code they don’t understand.
Just because I can glue wallpaper to walls doesn’t mean I can build a house.

The way the sand blends in that pic gives the illusion that your character is the avatar god of the lilliputians.
Do my bidding!
Almost everyone making that observation XD
I’m just up on a hill nearby so I could get the whole thing on screen

Argh! I won’t be stopping by this server anytime soon, Eniguman.
A side note and off topic:
If anyone is still looking for a clan or a fixed game date - I’m at #1040 every Monday evening from 7 p.m. and would be happy to play regularly with other players. (That’s why I already posted something about that in the official Discord channel today.)
The set is gorgeous.
The price seemed reasonable.
It included both glass ceilings and a 2x2 gate. Long desired features.
This one does have leaky windows. Rain goes right through anything glass. As does the Sandstorm.
Perhaps it is a Playstation exclusive bug.

No, unfortunately the bug is also present in the PC version.
I hope that it will be fixed in a timely manner so that it no longer rains through the glass floors and roof structures.

Sadly, I think the raining thru the glass ceilings is not an easy fix. The way the rain is canceled is with a top down image of the building and the glass lets the image thru. So probably the only way to stop it, is to eliminate the very thing that makes it cool; the transparency.

That is a very rock and hard place situation. What level of translucency or interruption do you think would be required to block the rain?
This one vaguely recalls a previous update series with regards to rain falling in doors and having wet floors.
So it’s an issue they’ve obviously put time and work into, not certain how deep the dive into the system was to get to the current (significantly superior) state of precipitation.
How large of a rebuild would we be talking to link presence of rain, ect, to shelter rating of the area rather than aerial snap shot? Do you surmise this is also why, despite the windows having no openings, they still allow heat fluctuation and sandstorm scouring? A Side on snapshot for line of sight?
This one is trying to better grasp where the line of sight vs line effect divide might fall.
I think (my amateur map modder brain at work) that the ways that would work are probably extremely poor in the performance department. Like, conceivably you could put a disable weatherclimatearea volume under each ceiling/roof piece that canceled the weather… but I’m not sure if that can he done on the fly, and if so, would it even be feasible. I dont think there are side issues; I think the windows letting thru weather is purely because you can reach thru them to steal because they have a hole in the collision.
As to a compromise on the transparency, I bet it would be at the point where you can’t see thru it. The translucency is because the glass does not occlude the other side, allowing it to add a blurry effect. The fact that it knows what’s on the other side to show it to you, even blurry, probably means only opaque would work.
