Congrats for the win and for the very well thought out group composition/builds. Deserved.
Congrats to the winners and all players. Most of all hats off to MyStygga for running a community event, tons of work and dedication. Well done!
Yup’ thanks to mystygga!
Gratz to IT and thanks to MyStygga for all effort he put to make this happen, on a side note any idea when the rewards are going to be delivered? Some of us want to move out of fury asap
Hi Allandir!
I have a spreadsheet I’m going to send with participant names and their reward tier. I am waiting for the results of the final series (Votekick vs USB for 3rd place), then I’m sending it to AndyB.
Congrats Ivory Tower for a flawless, undefeated season. Well played and well deserved victories! Shoutouts to NW and USB for playing some close games against IT.
Thanks for the tournament Mystygga and grats to Ivory Tower on the win.
And thanks to everyone who joined the tournament.

Hey! Creating some polls for feedback. I know the answer to some of these but it’s a good idea to see how much support each topic gets.
Also, these polls are open to everyone, even if you didn’t participate. The goal is to get as much input as possible

I may make another set of polls if there are more hot-topic items. I will also be in communication with all of you all about potential improvements for next time and how to make sure everyone feels like we’re moving in the correct direction after the final matches are played today.
don`t see any point in double elimination since all teams are playing 1 match in grp,if we have 2+ grps, then may be
so if I want a tournament format the way it was this last season, I should pick which one?
I’d guess league format is what we had this time? but we had single elimination after group play, so yeah which one is what?
I really don’t think 12 players teams are needed if you just let people log their alts (which we had to use the free agent system for last season)
Roster stability is a big deal in making for better PvP, but also the team feeling and a tightly knit group. So I think teams as large as 12 individuals (the way I read it) is taking it to the other end of the scale where you loose some of that team feeling and progressing together. Some guys might just end up in a roster for the rewards, without really part-taking, or even getting play-time.
With 12 individuals per roster, a lot of very strong players could end up being snatched by stronger teams. Instead if some of these very strong players ended up in other teams, or formed new teams instead it could be healthier?
10 individuals sounds like the perfect balance, then if we still keep the free agent system in one way or another to supplement when in need.
EDIT: another argument for allowing people to log their alts, say let people have two toons signed under their name, is when you know you’re facing an inferior team you can even the odds a bit by going off your most comfortable setup.
I really hope that people who vote for playing “Objectives” know that its super buged and youll end up 5v5 kill match
well,
I don’t think traditional cts will ever be included in a tournament because of how unfair it potentially is when one team gets the bug, and another team does not.
with objective there will have to be a way we can make our own objectives somehow,
say each team has to choose one of their players to be their “king” or whatever, then each time the king dies it will grant the other team 3 kill points instead of 1 (can easily be counted in score list afterwards)
It could be a way to make some objective, while also taming rampant tanks.
(just an idea)
another variant including flags could be to let flag caps count as X ammount of kills, which wouldn’t be entirely devastating if one team got the bug and the other team did not.
I feel lonely. Vote fury!
I like the idea of having to hunt a “king” that we can kill to score more points. This might indeed be better than CTS with the flag pick bug, and it’s very easy to count the score at the end too. And a good way to deal with tanks and add a new dynamic to deathmatch games. We’ll just have to find the right balance as far as the number of points goes (2 or 3 sounds fine off the top of my head).
IDK about having the flags count for X amount of kills though. Sounds a bit strange but might be worth trying it out.
Win Condition of Each Game (Objectives means flag caps, totem destruction, or number of Delred deaths)
it definetely says about cts.
the only way to do cts is to have max amount of flag die/take, let`s say ur flagger dies 3 times,u are not allowed to pick it anymore
I have an idea
How about team last Man standing in any of the guild arenas. Every team fights a team deathmatch til one man remains in each round for a total of however many rounds you want. Most rounds won wins that match.
I would recommend something like best of 5 so it’s decently fun but doesn’t take 20 minutes per match either. But obviously you can set it to however you want as long as both teams agree, the team with most rounds takes the win.
Similar in some regards to battle Royale without all the g@yness involved in that.
When a player dies he is sent to the waiting area to cheer his teammates on and await the next round.
Also things like self res and conq res can be used tactically.
Back in my fps days team arena masters (TAM) is what we called it. And it’s still played to this day. Makes for good times.
Vote Kick - USB 3 - 1

So this tournament is over for us too.
Must say big thanks for Sleves and USB guys for these games.
They accepted to play without one of their best players and their full setup, and were very friendly all the week.
Must say that the most fun and balanced games in this tournament were played with them for us.
Thx to Stygga for organizing and all BBB guys for letting us play finals in their place.
Thanks to those who helped and everyone we played with, actually all the tournament was a lot of fun.
And big gratz to Ivory Tower for winning. Actually looking them play was a very good teach.
I don’t have the screenshot of the game we lost.
I guess I was upset and dind’t take it
If someone has post it pls.
Now summer rest and see you on Crom
This was proposed by Satetka as well. The issue is that the maps for each arena are incredibly imbalanced, and could create stale, boring matches where some classes dominate because there’s no line of sight, and cooldowns would be up at the beginning of each round. Specifically, Ranger, HoX, and sin would be huge issues, in my opinion.
So you just focus those classes first. Let players who main those classes be wary. It’s all about tactics and protecting or focusing certain classes/players over others.
Like if you know your demo is going to get his *** pounded in every match you organize your team to defend him/her at all costs. And if youre on the other team you focus the hell out of that demo or die trying.
What we could do is some pug premades with this set up in an unofficial capacity as a means of trying it out. Cant hurt.
