Not sure why but the info I put into the bug report does not show up to copy?
In short I play on Xbo one single player in performance mode. This was not perfect especialy npc heavy fights like purges where lagging like crazy making me quenstion the fact this game is sold as playable on xbox one.
However, the game has constantly crashed every 10-15 minutes since the last update, making it completely unplayable. This happens whenever I use trhalls, like going on a farm run, fighting multiple npc or setting them on guard duty. It has also happend a few times when walking solo in npc heavy places
So far, the only thing that has surprisingly not triggered the chrash is building in creative mode, which is fun but only a small part of the game.
Try power cycling your Xbox
Thx for the suggestion, but unfortunately, this does not solve the issue.
Try clearing the cache if power cycling doesn’t work.
Unfortunately it runs terribly on old gen as it is.
I was unaware that you can clear your cache, thx for the tip. Unfortunately, this had no effect. It’s a shame Funcom is not honest about the minimum system requirements since I have no problem playing in performance mode with lower-quality graphics if the rest of the gameplay works well.
Looking online, a refurbished Xbox Series S has dropped in price enough that I am considering upgrading. However, I wonder if the game plays well on it since it is the lower-end model of the next-gen Xbox. Do you know if the game runs well on Series S, or only works well on the higher-end Xbox Series X models?
If you’re on a budget, the Series S is decent enough. Just be aware its hard drive space is low, so I’d recommend an external hard drive. Processing speed isn’t as fast as the Series X and it’s also capped at 1440p. However, it’s cheaper and half the size of a Series X. Go browse a few review sites on YouTube and make a decision from there
Basically what @Lucidique said. From experience I had no issues on the S, but other games can be a nightmare. (Ark was terrible for instance.)
I’m on the first xbox one to and i recommend uninstall the bae game and play on the cloud.
