i have the same problem. I go to the task manager to end the progrm

Same here. Fresh installed Conan Exiles just two weeks ago to get my fix and every time I quit I need to manually stop progress trough Steam after quitting too. Simply hitting âExit Gameâ doesnât seem to exit fully.

I get this to time to time. its not always 100%
MH Wilds does this too. I gotta Task Manger quit its ass if I wanna relaunch.
Still have this issue and have now for months. (Steam platform also.)

Contacted Steam about this shutdown problem. Finally received a reply from a human this morning.
In a nut shell, they are pointing the finger of blame at Funcom.

@darkpower I will steadfastly stand as your âStandard Bearerâ, but not as your âPall Bearerâ.
The Bot who got your back up is laughing itâs a*se off at you right now because you have done nothing but to fuel its ego.
You keep asking for âFrowny Facesâ from the Bot but it doesnât give them. It doesnât have to because other players are doing it for it.
There is an old saying: âwhy bark when you have a dog that will do it for youâ.
You and the Funcom community have let yourselves become the Botâs âdogâ, baying at the Moon.
The âFrowny Faceâ is the Botâs high. You and the responding player base are giving the Bot exactly what it wants. Truck loads of Frowny Faces (with no input from it, ie LIAO).

I know you are p*ssed off, and rightfully so. But please remember why you came onto this forum. Was it because of an anti social Bot, or your love for the game and the ability to help other players in the game.
Turn the other cheek. The Bot is not worth it. I know that sounds simplistic but . . . I am 69 years old. I have cancer. 10% survival chance. Maybe 6 months. There are no âAloe Potionsâ in real life for me.
If you knew the time of your demise, what would you do. Feed the Botâs ego or say âup youâ, you are nothing, I am going to live.
The world is your oyster, donât waste it on a Bot.
Change what you can, accept what you canât, then just get on with living.

Yes it is. He is posting the same things now as what got his Arcanist account banned before. His âgood behaviorâ was him suppressing his true feelings.
If he knew his time was up, he would be doing exactly this, because this is what he wanted to do all along, but could not without risking himself getting banned again.
He did not become a new person, he removed his mask.

I am not judging âdarkpowerâ and I am not taking sides. I am simply asking him to think about the cause. I ask you the same. Your reply tells me you two have locked horns before. If so that is a you problem, not me. I am merely trying to calm the troubled waters for all of us.
We have never locked horns, I was just here to witness his previous account get banned, and I can assure you that he is the same person now that he was back then.
