The mod mismatch loop

So we got this post here: Announcment

And i am a bit clueless after reading it. What do i need to do now for the people who couldn´t join a server. Do the people who had no problems playing need to do anything.

Where can the client opt out? Does the client need to opt out? Do people who had problems need to reinstall their mods?

Or do i just need to delete the ModsCached on the server?

For now, until its patch, delete the mods cache files.
