It’s not the end of the month yet. Expect the announcement then.
#Dune
that will be a bad thing for them self if they do that becuse people will think the ages is their no more if they not telling us now when the next age comming and it will make people leave the game if they telling us and this chapter is so boring i have not played the game this chapter not enough content
Age of Ruin. Let’s get stuff about the aftermath of war.
But also game fixes like falling through floors.
100% take away the pay lock on items. That’ll solve millions of issues with the game and allow us admins to reward players on our servers with items they don’t have.
Are you admins going to pay the developers’ salaries? Businesses sell things for money, to make money.
People are still going to buy the bazaar items and battle passes. The fact that the prices are insane means that they are getting a lot of money already. I’m just saying to remove the pay lock as since it’s become a thing, it’s been nothing but problems for anything related with items and the systems that require the checks. From not being able to see items load in properly, having items not being able to move out of a chest, items you actually own being bugged saying you don’t, etc…
There are ways of doing what they are doing now with the bazaar items and battle passes without having a pay lock on them. I’ve bought all the items because I don’t like not having access to everything in the game. I would just prefer the game not be riddled with bugs and exploits because of a item pay lock. To me, I see no reason to have it on other than to get more people to buy the items, regardless of a majority of players refusing to ever since it’s switched from Culture Packs at $10 with a building set, three outfits, and decor galore, to what it is now which is $10 for a lamp that no one can interact with because they don’t own it themselves.
With these teasers, I’m sure the announcement will come just after the Episode 2 of the Dune Direct.
Age of More-of-the-same:
Key Features:
Will introduce about 5-6 new game breaking bugs that will either never be addressed or will take months to fix.
Will do another reskin of the headhunter system, but it will only be temporary of course.
Will spend the entire age reworking everything they can to avoid actually adding in anything.
But most important… new battle pass and bazaar! Which is where about 95% of their development B team that wasn’t moved over to Dune will spend most of their dev time.
why 2 weeks ?
That vacation thing people have mentioned.
How about…now just follow me on this…just make…no expectations, but…you know, say…merge siptah and exiles to one map? I know, so so so SO much to hope for…
Ya know, they might ta just drop it on testlive and go on vacation, we can tell them just what to do with it when they get back.
I’m not arguing against the “anything goes” mentality of a free-for-all PvP. In fact, by signing on to a public PvP server, you subscribe to those “social norms” in that context.
There is still behavior that is occasionally frowned upon on PvP. Slaughtering noobs in the starting desert. Ambushing people at obelisks. Offline raiding. Although not written in any rules, and not agreed on by all PvPers, these examples at least cause some controversy among the PvPer population.
Do you see what’s common with all of them? They’re basically “winning” without letting the other party defend themselves. In other words, denying the other person the chance to play the game, thus breaking the “everyone should have fun playing the game” ideology. I’d bet that’s why these elements of PvP are at least somewhat debated, because deep down, even people who otherwise agree that anything goes feel that the other party should be at least allowed to play the game - to have a chance to have fun.
I would like to see an Age of trade. It may contain ships that we send for rare resources (this may be the eldarium that already exists on the island of Siptah). This would unlock the Isle of Siptah recipes on the Exiles map. We could be attacked by pirates and we had to protect our property.
It would be possible to make a merchant station (similar to an innkeeper) for the base. From whom one could buy recipes and resources that players do not need.
And also, I would like to have permanent events and, finally, they should drop RARE resources and recipes! And not this nonsense that happens now in random events
All this would encourage players to spend more time in the game looking for new recipes both at events and from traders at other people’s bases.
Also, if pirates attack you on a ship, then you can lose all the money prepared for the goods or the goods themselves that you have already bought, as well as the entire ship! Then you would have to start the whole process all over again: from building a ship, recruiting a crew of your slaves, and so on. There are so many things you can come up with. At the same time, not EVERYTHING needs to be invented, because… many things are on Siptah Island, such as new recipes, eldarium.
Sorry if Google didn’t translate everything correctly) I can’t check))
Hell to the no.
I can see them doing this, but without them fixing anything after they return from vacation.
Playing on single player is boring.
From a financial standpoint Funcom will never do this because it takes away from their bottom dollar.
The return of Ancient Obolus I hope!
