The Summoning Place

The Summoning Place should have corruption because of the heavy influence of Yog in the area.

I like the drums. It is the one city that feels like it has life. I would love if the other cities had different sounds.

Mounds----Coughing, moaning. Definitely sickly/plague region (cold and dreary)
Sept City—music and lively chatter…definitely a trade city
Sinners Refuge—Meditative and praying sounds–very religious group.
Summoning Place–As is, the drums feel just right there.
Asagarth–??? don’t really know, i don;t go there often.
Unnamed city—The windy silence fits the dead area.

How about add a boss for them drums? A Lovecraftian horror perhaps?

I agree. I see their logic of it being another faction “capital” and none of the others cause corruption (the Unnamed city excluded here) but it would feel right to have corruption there.

I’d also like so see some “summoned” tentacle monsters there, kinda the same way the dogs of the desert have were hyenas.

Having this place with corruption could lead to cool other ideas : It’s the capital of the Darfari, and they are staying here all the time, so there could be a boss that is like a super corrupted darfari warrior and so we would have a “chief”/boss for this place, like with the chieftains in new asagarth !

Its lower level area, I think Corruption would be abit much…

I’m still in favor of “Yog is coming” and player have to rush this zone and kill preists to prevent a area of map being picked out and destroyed by Yog. (New Purge type of sorts)

I love drums and weird hum… I tend go here pretty early.

Hell no ! I remember when I first started playing this game I randomly stumbled into there. The drums got my adrenaline going and I just started running around going nuts killing everyone in there. I love those drums.

I play with good set of headphones, and oh god it is soooo awesome in some of these places.

But crickets and birds bug me more, its like skyrim… its same 1sec audio over and over and over and over… which is weird, since I don’t heat them thru tv speakers.

I play with the speakers at a pretty high volume and earphones into my phone for Youtube. I like to multitask. I’ve never heard the humming. lol.

I really like this idea!
Maybe not as dramatic as the summoning place drums, but some background theme noises for each main city would be cool

Im good with adding corruption in the Summoning Place IF - and ONLY if - they add on to the city and make it larger. The devs should at least consider hollowing out more of the mountain it sits against and making it least twice as big if not 3x the size that it currently is, along with adding more Acheron ruins and maybe even some small enterable buildings with thralls inside and most definitely putting some sort of “mass grave” in the city that’s just a huge pit of human bones and remains.

maybe a small dungeon below the pit of yog, full of lava, undeads, a boss and valuable resources (brimstone and maybe a few obsidian nodes),

This would be super cool and worth exploring I think
