I had 170+ hours of all my bases/post/transportory since I was logged in like 3 days prior to the thralls decay. My event log was showing all my thralls decayed.
I only noticed it because when I teleported with transportory stone I went to the kitchen and came back to a char fully corrupted, looked around and my dancer was nowhere to be found, I thought maybe something got inside and killed it, checked the log and everything was red with decayed thralls.
Keep coming to the forums to see if Funcom acknowledges this and fixes it but I don’t feel like playing again.
They won’t acknowledge what they did has caused players difficulties.
Will you? @den@Community ? Will you acknowledge that your twisting the knobs on the decay timers has jacked up a bunch of players, and has caused a ton of unintended thrall decay?
@Caroll has really been on the ball recently. Maybe she will come forth, and brave wading into this one to get us some answers.
Same thing happened to me. Bases still had time on them but all my thralls, mounts, pets amd bartenders decayed. I camt believe the incompetence. Obviously the decay timers were out of sync or someone put in the wrong number, again. Over 2500 hrs down the drain.
I ended up receiving a response from Funcom when I reported the issue (took two report attempts before I got a response):
Thank you very much for your report. We understand you would like to retrieve your lost items. Since our team does not offer MMO-like support, we do not have the tools to complete this request. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
So, because the server’s thrall timer was not set correctly vs the base decay timer (still had 166 hrs left after the change back to reg hours), I (we) get punished for it? All those hours to level those thralls, pets (I actually had all of them at 20 too, including cats/dogs etc) and all the legendary gear… lost…
EDIT: forgot to mention this - why doesnt the ‘team’ I reported the issue to… wait for it… send me the contact info of whom i should be talking to… jfc
they could offer increased XP for leveling thralls quickly. for a couple weeks,. to counter their screwup, but nope , maybe they believe it is the players fault,
now there are ways to level your thrall quickly under 15 min both in EL and siptah.
and you want to laugh ?, last year they had the problem too, and they did a roll back after 2 days of all servers to restore the thrall lost. but this year, nah, no reaction, funcom totally eratic behavior.
Program the server so that any time a decay timer is altered (thrall or building) it causes every decay timer (thrall AND building) on the entire server to reset to full.
Seeing as how this “bug” is turning into a yearly tradition, Funcom might want to build in a failsafe.
