I logged on for my weekly refresh only to discover ALL my thralls gone.
When I checked the event log, it claimed they decayed because no member of my clan had been on for too long a time. I had been on approximately a week earlier, I noticed some items had decayed as well even though they’d been refreshed earlier. I do a regular run through all my portals and check their state with my repair hammer, yet the last few times I’ve noticed that they haven’t decayed at the same rate, even though they are all overbuilt.
Since when do thralls decay?
I submitted a bug report to Funcom, but they’ve totally ignored me, even afte I sent a followup.
Most of the thralls were on my main base, which was never in danger of decaying, btw.
This seems not to be true. Look here for my recent problem on this topic. I had planned to test this further but had not enough time since then, so I don’t know how it really works…
95 thralls “gone” due to FunCom bugs.
Base is there, we logged on as usual etc.
FunCom after X years can you at least refrain from doing idiotic bugs that will require server rerolls that f**k over people not afflicted by a specific bug.
Reroll server fixes are a disaster. Noone is happy about them but sadly needed.
The decay system is a strange thing.
For example there is an enormous base on my server in the Star Metal zone. The player left months ago, possibly even longer. Thralls are long gone but the base is still there and keeps getting refreshed. Every time a star metal meteor hits it, it refreshes the timer
At this rate it will be years before it is all destroyed by star metal meteors.
