Currently follower thralls attack when they get hit or you get hit.
They should rather start attacking when the player does.
- If player gets hit, thrall attacks aggressor and exits combat when aggressor dies or player has escaped combat
- If thrall gets hit, thrall attacks aggressor and exits combat when aggressor dies or player has escaped combat
- If player attacks, thrall assists and exits combat when player target(s) dies
- If player sheathes weapon, thrall exits combat regardless of trigger conditions

To be honest Thralls should have aggression settings like flee, passive, neutral or aggressive. It would also be great if they could do paroling when players are near.
When there are no people close to the base the Thralls should all stand still and not use server resources. However when a player gets in range of your base, thralls should be able to continue there patrolling and what ever else they can do.
It would be nice if the Thralls could talk to each other when they walk around or are standing guard
but now i might just be aiming for the sky 
I agree that thrall AI can be taken further than my initial pseudo code, but I’m trying to keep stuff as simple as possible given the state of the game.
