Thrall not equipping weapons any updates?

Hello all, relatively new player encountering what looks like an old bug. So for me leveling Dancers is a nightmare they very often just stop equipping weapons regardless of type.

Any updates on this or tips from some veterans?

Dancers are the only tamable thrall in the game that actually emotes by itself. (dances)
So when they are not in combat, they usually start dancing and unequip their weapons.
Even if you manually equip them I noticed it doesn’t last.
The only thing you can do is manually equip them right before a fight and hope they do not get “happy feet.”

@JJDancer , Happy feet :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: you nailed it :+1: . @paradat , fix the attack distance and give them a bow and a two handed sword . If you train dancers you are the tank and the fighter , so build strength , vitality ,grit and go out and kill everything but try to avoid boss fights (only for the delay) .

I have yet to level up a dancer, that would be mega annoying having them do the dance/run/dance thing.

I do not really mind them doing the dance. I just whish they would join in the fight lol. I have had them work fine for awhile then they just run up to the monsters in the boxing stance with no weapons and do not attack. Maddening.

Just variety and it is nice if they are tough for when a base gets hit. I find that they can be pretty good tanks if equipped with daggers they do good damage and the take very little.

When they are working that is lol.

I always equip them with venom-infused daggers.
