I’m going to keep trying. This topic is too important to continue without an answer from the moderators. The Thrall Pot is important for both PvE and PvP and needs to be addressed.
And the developers will continue to ignore it. They are too busy with other projects by the looks of it.
I do hope its fixed thought for everyones sake.

Please revert the change that has made the Thrall Pot a mere decorative object and return its functionality to actually feeding our thralls in our bases.

Absolutely agree! Whatever changed caused it needs to be reversed as I highly doubt it was intentional. They never mentioned it in any patch notes.

I would like to point out this little nugget for you then.
This is taken directly from the Age of Heroes Chapter 1 Q&A thread. In fact, it is the very first question that @Caroll answered. So if Funcom’s solution is to make Thrall Pots decorative items why would they claim that the new crafter thralls can take items directly out of thrall pots? 
I mean, I am not disagreeing with you per say @Pugilist I am just wondering if one hand is not informing the other hand of what they are doing.

My Set like a 3 year old.
Bumping your thread will just get it locked and delisted. You’re just luck it’s Sunday and there are no mods on.
Unlikely, the wet effect thread has been bumped since late winter.
It could be that the thrall pot is fixed on other systems, but not on PlayStation. Just a guess
Thank you for pointing this out! The developers need to understand that it doesn’t work and we are just asking for an acknowledgement of the issue.
Perhaps, I do own the game on PC but have not actually tried it myself.
I’m going to log into test live and see if it works in Age of Heroes tonight. I’ll update this thread once I know.
Update:
On Testlive, Thrall Pots ARE WORKING! So assuming they fixed it in this patch and it’s not exclusive to PS4/5, we are good to go.
My testing:
Thralls eat from the pot every 40 seconds. If you want constant feeding for intense content like purges or PvP base defense, you need 3 thrall pots down to ensure they are always eating to heal with 0 downtime.
I’m marking this as the solution.

Now for the bad news, thralls are retaining spoiled food once again. Guess it’s a trade off.
Do you get a list next to the pots which thralls are getting fed from it?
How do you know the radius?
Thralls simply getting things from pots means half job done. If you place other items in the pot are they going to the thralls inventory?
