For whatever reason Thralls at a bar have German names and when you buy them they convert to English, I don’t have German selected as a language for my game so I’m not sure why this is happening but other people have also gotten this.

As Pazsu says above. Also, do you have any clans people that may be playing based in Germany? Their language settings may affect things?
You did not state the Server or where it is based weither. Do you have mods? Lots of variables here.
That’s an age old bug, and afaik, it has nothing to do with the player, server or anything. For whatever reason, this Norwegian game sometimes wants to talk in German to us.

With all due respect, this issue should be well-known within the company and not require any generic questions.
Asking for verification is a bit… Well, let me put this way: Could you please send us a screenshot of your contract to proof you actually work for Funcom? 
It’s common courtesey to assume people are telling the truth when there’s no other indication.
Crom, this issue is years-old and happens - afaik - in all game modes.
There were more threads about this issue iirc, just posted what a quick search found. That’s most likely the same issue at work here.
