Thralls disappearing AGAIN - Nov 6, 2023

Bug Description:

So, it seems thralls are disappearing again at random . Yesterday, November 9th, 2023, early in the afternoon I played for a short time, strolled about with a couple of thralls, and all was well. About 6 hours later I went back to the game and nothing less than EIGHT (8) thralls had vanished in thin air, including the one I used a few hours earlier and another one I had converted 5 days ago, which rules out any regular decay timer, and since there are no more random purges that also rules out the possibility they were killed by a horde. I would like someone from Funcom (or should I say no-Fun com) to explain what happened now and obviously restore my thralls.

Are you at max limit? Have you been doing purges and collecting new thralls? This will contribute heavily to increasing thrall numbers and result in losses.

Nope. Currently at 66 followers, according to my clan’s Followers dashboard. At 72 before the disappearance of 8 fighters/bearers/dancers. Never did any purge since the update. Also of notice is that they all disappeared from the same location/base and they were all T3s and T4s. Other bases are intact.

I see… and I’m assuming not all of these thralls were your newest ones?

Only one was 6 days old. All the other ones have been there for quite some time.

Event log says that all those thralls were killed by Rotbranch. However, there’s no Rotbranch near my base, at least that I know of. My only guess is that some player dragged one to my base either to save his own butt or just to amuse his/her twisted sense of humor. But then again, I don’t know of any Rotbranch near my base.
I guess that settles it.

You’re welcome… btw, what’s your base location? You may not have been aware of one nearby. Funcom updated pull distance, so there shouldn’t be a way to kite it real close if it’s nowhere nearby.

One of my clan buddies just pointed out the location of one somewhat near-by my base (10-C). And since this particular boss can chase you for a long distance (I learned it the hard way sometime ago) so chances are someone dragged one to my base so my thralls would fight it for her/him.
