Thralls not decaying when house decays

When a house decays, thralls inside it do not. This had led to Officials servers being overwhelmed with many thralls. The thralls also stay on the same z-axis it was on, prior to the house decay – this means that they are left floating in the air. This has been an issue for a very long time (even before servers went live, but it wasn’t a big deal back then since you could attack another player’s thralls on PVE.) Please fix this soon – it looks horrible to be running around through the game and see these thralls all over the place and floating in the air. The thralls never decay and stay forever. (I do see that the next patch will fix the “floating aspect” but it does not appear to address the fact that they never decay).

I want to buy the expansion packs, but I need confidence that major bugs like this are going to get addressed – its been an issue for nearly 1 year and still not fixed.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Place a thrall in a house.
  2. Let the house decay.


  1. When a house a thrall is in decays, thralls on PVE servers could become vulnerable to attacks. This would allow other players either to help clean the server or to claim the thralls as their own.
  2. When a house a thrall is in decays, thralls should disappear. This could be implemented on all servers.
  3. When a house a thrall is in decays, thralls should get a 30-minute decay timer and be vulnerable to attacks/capture. If not claimed within 30 minutes, then they vanish.

Funcom has a history of having game-breaking bugs and not fixing them, just look around the forums. Many of these bugs are months if not a year old.
