Tired of vote to kick on raid finder - it is necessary to take measures

I can’t think of any way people purposely spreading miasma or blood draw is “fun”. Or purposely messing with group setup to troll is “fun”. I guess you have a different definition of fun than myself, I prefer having people not be jackasses in raid just to troll people.

I don’t really find it fun to wipe at the same boss for over 1 hour because some people decide to actively spread miasma around or simply can’t be bothered to press any of their directional keys to move away from the raid.

Do you as well line up in the longer queue wherever you can, cause you like wasting time?

Well, I have no idea of the reason why he’s doing it, but it’s pretty much clear that @cynara is just trolling us. Stop feeding him.

This sounds like the best solution in the thread. I second that opinion, McNavy!

Hello.

Ive done up to 36 characters per week into RFs. Sometimes I do 12 sometimes the whole stable

RF vote kick can be abused: someone doesn’t like another player, someone trolls spam votes to be annoying…

Options for a fix:

Create an option like the ‘show timer bar’: make a ‘show raid finder vote kick window’ and then the player can move it out the way: either entirely off screen or at least out of the prime viewing area

Put the vote kick originating player’s name on the kick request. That way we can see if there are troll spammers and kick them out

Even putting the kick window in a corner (upper right, lower right, etc) would help a lot. But I would prefer to be able to just move the window out of the way

thanks

I’m with you on your idea.

Delete the abomination RF altogether. Allow alternative method to obtain rings.

Abolish Raid Finder from the server and make shards drop by % from real raid bosses in real raids. I want to see real raids in global again with players that actually know the strats to these real raids.

If Funcom is set on keeping RF in game forever, then at least allow us the ability to form our own raids and do RF.

Funcom, listen to the players and REMOVE the abhorrent Raid Finder. Players do not need it!

You can form your own raids and just do raids …

I had started a new thread because of all the flaming and fighting in this one. Since they were merged, the ideas get buried and then no one knows if any of the dev staff can actually see things or not.

No sense in posting more about it.

But we can not get Alantean shards for the rings and four gems from ordinary raids … THIS is our point …
so sure we can boycott RF and gear out via raids and six mans … there is gear in the six unchained dungeons that is close to t4 in stats that are more than adequate to enable you to hold your own in t4 and beyond.
We can do chaos runs and get the rings which have a single chaos gem slot
But none of that is going to get us enough shards to buy the better rings and the four gems only obtainable by shards from a vendor.

We can’t form a raid and join RF as a raid group. The best we can do is make a group of 6 to sign to RF

You must be new to this topic, wtf do you think we’ve been asking Funcom for years…

yes it does, because all the subjects that are leaving the content I am flagging and will be removed

That is exactly what people have been asking for years now, for funcom to add shards for example on t3+ REAL raids, and on dungeons, the fact that Rf is the only way to obtain best gear in game, while the content is completly atrocious. What makes it even worse is that you kinda have to have those rings in pvp as they are insanely overtuned.

In previous threads on shards, I’ve asked that the shards could be obtained by exchanging PvP tokens for them so the PvP community can enjoy doing the content they enjoy most and get the rings and gems without being forced to split their time signed to PvE they don’t care for. As well as ask the shards be rewards in raids and groups.

This thread is going in circles and does not contain much constructive feedback from the opening post.
