ToT Custom, please reinstate

One the subject specifically of RP servers dying. I am going to quote what I said a while back when everyone thought the mod Pippi was going to cease updating:

Its a shame that there are those who think RP requires fancy gadgets, mods, or even a PC. When people have been playing table top RPGs with nothing more than a pencil and paper for nearly 50 years, and many with less than that for thousands of years.

While the Pippi mod made running a Conan Exiles server much easier, and the work of Joshtech will always be appreciated and seen with awe. It was never required for RP. All that is required is an idea and good friends. If you don’t have that, no amount or quality of mods will help you.

My stance on this hasn’t changed. And while the work of author of the Tot! series of mods should definitely be appreciated. An RP server is NOT, and NEVER defined by its mods. An RP server is defined by the community of players that engage in the activity with one another. You don’t need mods, gadgets, or even a video game itself.

So lets keep the sensationalism down about how servers are suddenly going to up and die. If they die because they lose one mod, they were one foot in the grave already. I’m not against showing support for a mod author who very be going through a rough patch. But honor their wishes and keep things civil and level headed.
