No idea, but you should assume they won’t 
Never assume anything. They have a tendency to do things unannounced at times… and take them away. I have a chest full of stuff ready to take to siptah and vice versa. I’m just not holding my breath for it to show up any time soon. I hope I’m wrong though.

would you rather live forever in a small map? . Or do you plan to return to the exile map one day?
No… I play both maps. I plan to swap characters to maximize my materials and recipes to build cooler stuff. You have such a close minded attitude toward the potential of transfers.

We’ve been “stuck” in Siptah for what feels like forever with our characters we’ve had for years and years. Really hoping to transfer back to Exiled Lands since Siptah is pretty much abandoned. Any news Devs can give on transfers would be much appreciated. 
The moment they have new information, they will post it. Its still in the same state as it was when removed. Enabling it now would result in some losing their characters.

Hence why I’d more than likely just have an alt. That’s what I had before, but it was permanently lost. I’ve only transferred my main character once when I had to merge servers. Wasn’t exactly my choice.

I have a rented server for 2/3 years but I have a very high ping. The only solution would be to move my character to a new server.
Admin panel is a good way to get your stuff back and relearn everything. Official servers aren’t so fortunate.
I stopped waiting.
Now ive got plenty of resources on IOS and EL.
My skills on my character are the most important- nothing else matters.
I like to customize and get recipes and building decor… so I’m SOL until it comes back. I got lots of resources on both, but not the stuff I can’t get.

so for now they have no intention of reintroducing the transfer?
“No intention?” I can’t say that. All they say is that it’s something they’re still investigating. Basically that just means don’t expect it any time soon.
It’s been off for over a year now? As someone who transferred probably at least 100 times (the CD in PvE is quite low) and never experienced any issues… I wonder what those people getting their stuff deleted was doing wrong.
But the fact that you can bring better gear from S to EL makes it unfair to those who won’t buy the DLC. Personally i don’t mind/care but still i hope the transfers won’t ever come back.
Transfering characters? → Sure.
Transfering items, loot, gear, etc. → Big No

Oh… you have no idea. There is a build you can do on siptah that allows you to transfer with like 10x more weight than you normally could thanks to the drowned sigil (Your encumberance goes up as your HP goes down). People were transferring with around 30 thralls worth of weight, which is about 3x more than a normal player min/maxing encumbrance can do.
The only downside is you lose all sigils upon transferring, but you just bring more.
