I thought there was some type of range when building that would make trees/rocks and fiber plants/weeds not respawn… anyone know why or how to fix this issue? I have trees and fiber weed/plants growing right next to whatever I build, thankfully not on top but still even placing the stone walkway they grow back through it…
Is this on public servers, private servers or Single-Player? The resource despawn distance is a server setting that can be changed from the admin panel.
Also, are you using any mods which may interact with building pieces and how they work?
This is an official PvE-C server
Are those trees, rocks etc. still interactable? Ie. can you chop them? Or is it just a visual bug?
If it’s an official server issue, we can’t really do much to help with it, but I suggest making a bug report on the appropriate forum section and describing the issue in as much detail as possible. That’s why I’m posting these questions, to help you write the bug report.
Are the things you’re putting down placeables? Like is the stone walkway the decoration one you make on the artisan bench? Crafting stations, stables, animal pens, and placeables in general don’t despawn resources when placed. To make them despawn you need to place actual foundations or other building pieces.
