Truncheons not working in single player or co-op

For some reason equipping a truncheon does not give a knockout bar so there is no way to knock out an NPC to take it as a potential thrall

Bug Reproduction:

I have tried every type of truncheon on every level of NPC , from a level one whatever to a named, none of them are getting a knockout bar pop up when I attack them. I have tried every spot on the map, I have tried single player and co-op, none of them seem to matter

I’m curious, have you ever been able to make it work on your single player game? I mean this particular one. I’ve noticed in the past there’s a rare bug where this may occur and the only way to fix it is to wipe and restart the server from scratch. After I discovered it, I would spawn in a truncheon first thing when I’d start a new game and test it. If the KO bar showed, I knew it was fine, if not, I’d restart again.
