TSW (The Secret World OG) - Can't set up PayPay as alternative payment method from EU

Hi there - hoping someone can help me with this. @AndyB?

I have logged into my old TSW account and wanted to buy some FCP and an extra character slot, but because EU credit cards no longer work I have to use PayPal.

However when I try to set this up, I don’t get sent to the PayPal preapproval page and just get an error message.

I gather this could mean my account is frozen or stuck in some way.

If anyone could help me I’d be really grateful.

Bumping this as a followup. I’m in a similar boat, though different. I have multiple payment methods setup - I’m in the US. I was able to purchase an extra character slot, but my attempts to purchase funcom points are either failed, or pending, despite money being taken from my account.

I submitted a ticket, but there needs to be some sort of response on this.

While I’m not looking to purchase any Funcom points right now, being able to update my payment information with a working card would be nice, should I ever have the urge to purchase. Also, the fact that this has been an issue for years is scary. Why is Funcom resistant to us giving them money?
