One of my players submitted this screenshot and it is so hilariously timed between two players who are followers of Crom, and suddenly this “Crom on the Mountain” who doesn’t seem to have been actually in the server makes themselves known…
I hate to be the bearer of the bad news, but no, it’s not an Easter egg. That’s just someone who knows how to exploit the fact that Funcom’s global chat does not sanitize inputs properly

To be fair if Crom really wanted to communicate in CE chat I doubt Funcom could do anything to stop it…

Oh the fun I had with this with chinese hackers that were streaming, I didn’t speak their language but after I made it look like their clan/them saying some political things on stream I understood that universal 5 minutes of yelling and hiding of the chatbox.

I’m pretty sure that if Crom wanted to communicate in CE, he wouldn’t do it through the chat. He’d probably spawn like a dozen frost giants around you or something.

It could have been a Funcom employee on the server for “reasons” and they decided to entertain while working… I’d actually bet on that.
