I found other posts referring to the same problem I am having dating back to March of 2020 and the problem has still not been fixed… The replies were all the same, in that since the Devs didn’t have the problem. then everything is working fine. The fact is, the server is not working fine because multiple people have had the same problem and the problem only exists for them on that particular server. As for me, I don’t have problems getting past the loading screen on any other servers but that one.
Problem: While logging onto server 3514 (PVEC) I get stuck on the loading screen. The loading bar runs all the way to the end and stops and never goes any further. Music is still playing like it is still loading but no matter how long I wait it will never enter the world. I was able to log into the world earlier today but trying again this evening I have this problem. This has been an issue in the past and it always seems to do this in the later afternoons or evenings (central time. 4pm or later) The last time this was happening I just left the server eventually because nobody seems to be interested in fixing the problem. I have returned after more than a year and this same problem still exists. It only happens on this particular server. I have noticed that the server is completely flooded with overbuilt structures and land claims causing the entire server to be crazy laggy. Whether it would fix the problem or not, I would suggest a complete server wipe to fix the server lag if nothing else.
I hope someone will eventually try to fix this issue I hate having to restart on different servers. it definitely makes the game much less enjoyable.
