Unnamed boss drops massivly nerfed

Since patch went from testlive to live have killed bosses 40+ times momma dragon got a lifeblood first kill and since nothing but trash drops not even steel helm pvp sword or lifeblood AND patch notes did mention new drops was hoping to see at least bow from testlive or torch that was mentioned in forums.
One of the skeleton bosses dropped a new axe had not seen back to back drops off same mob. the bat dropped a new helm with corruption effect and couple other times have gotten basic gear off of one of the skelly bosses and bat but that is about 8 totatl drops off of about 50 kills each.

Used to get a item gear weapon whatever after killing all 6 bosses each round mostly gear but it still had something drop have done 10 rounds a day and have seen nothing but junk drops off some of those.
Forgot to mention one boss is dropping predetor sword more often skeletal serpentman has been dropping a piece of gear once in a while and the sword about 5 times out of all those rounds. Its the rest of the bosses that arnt giving any love.

Seconded.

Went to replenish my supply of repair kits and saw nothing new and significantly lower drop rate. Maybe 1 in 20 (update: gotta love RNG - looking at closer to 1 in 5 now, plus 1 new Dragonscale Helm).

Don’t necessarily have an issue with it, just wanted to confirm experience.

Perhaps someone with dev kit can confirm too.

Same here, before I had roughly 40% drop rate, now it’s like 15%.

40 kills with nothing show for it seems normal. Itlest from ps4 user since its update.

It took me several round abouts to even get my 1st item to drop. (relic hunter pants) took me another 20-30 bosses to get another named weapon. XD

well today I finally got another drop off momma a eyepatch so she is still dropping stuff just not what I am after lol.

However just got another predetor sword 6th one since patch and got dagger earlier off same boss he seems to be at a 40% drop rate. Momma seems to be closer to a 5 to 10%

Thanks for testing and these numbers.
I know these are not official or fix numbers, but still it is showing that we went from hight drop to low drop once more.

The city with a 5% droprate will become much less attractive again to single or soloplayers.
While doing the thing once is fine, but it become quickly a grind doing more. Of course for players wanting just fight all the time in each game session this may be fine and fit. But i imagine that many will just avoid once more the most time the unnamed city.

Seems most on my server not interested in unnamed seldom find anyone here when I am doing my grind for the bow and to see what else drops I don’t need shards just store them away for clanmates or whoever needs them.

Get a 7k thrall and take healing arrows makes fight a tad bit easier I run in medium armor to roll out of way of her spins and use poison infused daggers to get max bleed and poison damage. Blade of adventurer works great on thrall if you cannot get a sword of crom. the other fights are still challenge with the thrall as well but not half the grind.

Soloplayers may do it, but they may also get tired after some trials.

yes the daggers you have to be 60 to make the dagger handles so those are closer to end game however if you can get the high lvl thrall there is a axe with poison that drops off the skelly bosses or used to be more common than now.

Try to get Captain thrilled he has high hps now if you can find one in Sep was also told the Bandit leader has same hps as Captain.

Finally got the torch off red mother so there is still hope.

Reduction of drop rates usually means they are going to add pay to win micro transaction.

Make farming a chore to encourage spending money on item.shop.

Really hope that isn’t the case have seen it kill a lot of games that way only the wealthy or kiddies with mommas credit cards will be only ones playing.

Its not always the case.

But lowering drop rates without adding alternative way of getting the items is even worse bussiness call than adding pay to win shop

In Everquest when they lowered drop rate was to encourage players to go to newer areas maybe that is their thinking but why add more drops to same bosses unless the wanting them to go there.

This will not happen, and FC stated it several times in Streams and patch notes and other occasions.

But there are no new areas to go… and there will never be as FC has stated; they will not add new areas to the game.

Its much better to add new farming locations, than to nerf the existing ones.

Make others features more desireble than nerf the desired feature to create illusion that the undesired ones are feasible.

There atm are 2 new dungeons added and they changed sep volcano and NA

Well, on one hand. No new areas, for right now. Its not off table, just not anytime soon. They got 3 more dungeons to put out.

Also, They plan redo caves, and other locations. So there more Bosses over map in general. You no longer have to farm just Unnamed City, now you cna look for Bosses in Sepeurmruruururu(or how ever its spelt) or New Asgard (not sure if it got new bosses)
They did mention Caves would get a overhaul.

Sound like end game will be spread out abit more.

Dont really see that happening… Admin panel to adjust whatever you need.
It would only work if you don’t solo and don’t play private server - really don’t think it will ever happen… doesn’t match the playstyle of the game, and Im sure they are aware of this.
