Bug Description:

Journal Updates for Dungeon Delver: It appears that you have set the updates to only trigger when someone soloes the Waramakers Sanctuary and the Wine Cellar. This is utterly ridiculous. You, as the developers, should know that those dungeons are too difficult for ANYONE to solo. Requesting these be opened up to group runs.

I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic?

I can solo both those dungeons without thralls.

But no, it’s not triggered to solo vs. multiplayer. Ensure you trigger the discovery before entering and at least 1 hit on the boss.

Hey Kiki, real sorry for bothering again but I find you (through your Posts I have read so far) competent about the Game.
Now - Solo the Wine Cellar???
Warmakers okay, though Miss Champion best has to be staggered and kept busy in order to prevail.
Also Wine Cellar, doable, if Solo, but the Heck of an Endboss!!!
Authority Build, two Thralls, would work - until he unleashes his AoE-Damage! The one where Pillars of light appear, along with the Skeletons - you, being Authority-Build, means CERTAIN Death! No way one can survive this unless… You walk in with an Grit / Vitality Build… And even there he One-shots me???
Any hints on What to do in order to
survive his dumb “Area of Effect” Attack possibly?
Oh and yeah - I could ask Doc Google about, but I rather communicate with people.
Thank you in advance for your time & effort, fellow Exile!

I usually run full authority and have low vitality (about 300 hp). Typically I let my thrall aggro and I stop everything I’m doing and just watch the floor. Ignore all the adds as they’re probably not gonna do anything to you unless they catch you. I just watch the floor and keep moving between clear zones. I never sprint unless it’s cutting too close. If you sprint, you may find yourself out of stamina at the wrong time. Anyway, I’ve found this method helps, but it’s not a guarantee if you screw up. However, more often than not, I’m able get through it unscathed. Occasionally I may take some damage and manage to get out without dying. Always keep health potions on hand. You never wanna enter that phase of the battle without full health, because one combo of it WILL kill you. If you get hit only once or twice, you may survive when starting with full health.

i think the problem are the rewards, mess up all the way with altars, summom an avatar and recieve an incense as reward

Hey there, you’re not bothering me

Your playstyle and preferences are super important for you.

My builds are based on PVP minmaxing. So focus on doing max damage and micromanaging stamina with buffs and potions. Mind you it has been months since I’ve been on PVP, but I’ve brought over these builds to a PVE server I’ve been visiting with great success. Keep in mind that the majority of playing vanilla PVP is PVE.

If I am:

• simply running through a dungeon I’ll go SAV 20/20/20 picking second skin and berserker, precision strike and rolling thrust (I should pick but instead I like to jump around with extended), fast healer and depending on how I’m feeling last stand or glutton (but last stand does a good job most of the time).
• farming dungeons I’ll go AVE 20/20/20 precision and rolling, fast healer and last stand, efficient and beast.

With either of these builds I’m clearing 700 HP and 120 stam without armor. I use light armors that focus on str/ag damage, health and stamina. Then add on food and potions to increase either the str/ag weapon, depending on what I am using. I like 2 handed hammers (always been my fav). I munch on religious feasts to regen stam - yog is still easiest to make. That is, as long as the bug that removes your buffs doesn’t get overwritten by consuming food -_-

IMO thralls are a burden, get in the way all the time, even with DBNO I still have to micromanage the hell out of them. So I haven’t played consistently with followers since the nerf.

For me, grit is useless but I’ve heard it is ok on PVE. Authority is wasted points for me too.

If you want more defense going all heavy armor can help but you have to be careful with the weight if you’re going SAV.

All of the bosses are static. There’s nothing special about them, they perform the same predictable moves; it’s really about being patient and having quick reflexes.

You can do all the dungeons naked. I’ve never done it myself but I can see how easy it would be. Been a year since Cero posted this but it’s still pretty similar.

Exactly.

The current journey steps must be done is sequential order.

If you have not found the hitbox to trigger the POI discovery, nothing after that will count.

Exactly. It’s about a plan and movement.

And that’s exactly what it’s all about - we start a game, and then over time we grow into it. And how exactly does that work? In the beginning I was VERY careful with Conan, your life was over too quickly and leaves you with the thought “Okay, THAT is impossible!” Until someone comes along and clearly shows that it is POSSIBLE AFTER all. If you then remove your own reservations and can ACCEPT the advice of others, then others will also say to you one day “Damn, you are a fighting pig Dude!”
Thank you for expanding my limited Horizons, don’t stand in the way of yourself, just don’t stand in your own way because you’re too busy feeding an overly big ego - the universe has made not just ONE person, but many, for good reason! Thank you @Kikigirl and @jmk1999 (and countless others!) for making me stronger. I will repay your Kindness, with helping others once the time has come.
Awesome Peeps, muah!!! :blush::+1::grin:

It’s all good… I have a love/hate relationship with that dungeon. I love the loot, but hate the final boss. Usually I won’t take on the final boss without a friend. It makes me too nervous. That being said, it’s doable and I know my method works as I do it every time, even if I’m doing it with a friend. It’s that exact part that I get scared and nervous about, so you’re not alone in having concerns. I have to psyche myself up every time I’m lighting those fires to start it. lol…
