Got a blue screen error a couple nights ago in a bad spot. By the time the game loaded back up, I was dead at that spot. I had some help killing the NPC’s there so I could recover my body and items, but it was nowhere to be found. Then, last night I was doing the hunt (fighting the mammoth) and got pinned and killed again. Went back to retrieve my body again, and again, it was nowhere to be found. I have lost all the items, armor and weapons I was carrying twice in 3 days. Fortunately, my followers returned home. The “Dead-Loot” icon was on the map the entire time, so I know I was in the right spot both times. Looked around the entire area for 30-45 minutes both times, and there was just nothing there.
Join the party. I’ve had this happen a few times in Chapter 4. I lost tons of legacy stuff I carried over from Siptah after transfers shut down 2 years ago.
