I upgraded a 3 month sub because i cant for the life of me remember my old account. It took a while to activate, i played for a while then exited to login to make a different character then a banner popped up saying account not paid for???
Any tips to fix this?
Account still Frozen…payment was approved however, and my time is ticking away. This is annoying for me and fraudulent on Funcom’s behalf. If anyone has a working fix please let me know..
Their account management system is a complete mess. I also have a paid account that I can’t access anymore. Unlike your situation, mine wasn’t an upgrade—it’s an account I’d been subscribed to for some time before reactivating.
I get that they might want to allocate minimal support to this game, considering its age and likely small player base. However, the least they could do is include a warning to inform users that the game isn’t well-supported and that account issues might occur. That would require minimal effort and provide users with clear and honest expectations.
It’s disappointing because I genuinely enjoy revisiting the game from time to time and love supporting companies that work to keep these kinds of projects alive.

So now they are trying to double charge me…this is so annoying. I have an approved payment for 3 month sub, cleared my bank, and now they are trying to re-process the one that failed when I tried to use a prepaid card because I didn’t want to use my bank card.
Can anyone help with this frozen account…would really like access to everything. Wasting my time on a second froob account since all the good stuff is locked behind expansions.
So they cleared the double charge and only kept the successful one…but the account is still frozen.
Come on now Fun-com…if you took the time to clear up the payments surely you noticed the successful payment and could have unfrozen my account. This is straight up incompetent.. Going on 15 days so far since the payment cleared my bank and still not able to access what I paid for. Either reverse my payment or unfreeze my account, this is just beyond ridiculous at this point…
Are you getting an “unpaid” error when you try to log into the game?
yeah.. i have a confirmed payment but get the error message unpaid or blocked. The sad part is i could play it after it was confirmed, an hour later i logged to character creation to make something different and i played for about 20 more minutes and it became frozen..

Not sure if that helps with paid accounts or not, but it did the trick on my froob account.
Sadly it does not unfreeze my acct. For some reason it shows my payment as accepted..but now there is another one that says payment failed. No idea what they are trying to do, but its frustrating a bit sketchy.
20 Days later and still nothing…does anyone have a quick way to contact anyone who has the ability to help?
almost a month and no change..getting the feeling i got ripped off 36 bucks.
