A few initial thoughts on my day one play.
The Sacred Hunt
The ambushes are quick. It’s an easy kill that yields 3-6 fangs in my 6 or 7 times.
The Bloody Tongue specifically says that we have to be away from the walls of men, or something like that, for the beasts to attack. I guess that means away from our own walls, because another player was in my base when she was ambushed. My dancer was pummeled before the offender was dispatched. That brings me to this important point. Thralls will not attack our nocturnal hirsute guests. If they are going to be inside the walls, guards should at least be able to defend themselves.
Also, one per night is low. I wish it were more, since you need a ton of fangs to buy the better items. So, that’s a tad grindy.
The boss battles are not as difficult as the would appear. The rhino is the easiest. The panther is a rather quick fight. The mammoth is a mammoth, and I hate it. I hate fighting regular ones, so the boss is the worst of the fights, including the final werebear.
Otherwise, I have completed the hunt 4 times. I have not done the corrupted lure thing yet, because the lure itself hasn’t finished whatever it is doing. It doesn’t seem to advance the timer when I am not online, even though it is in a chest.
At this point, it is gathering the fangs that is my focus. I need 1000(!) for the Regalia. I have also been wearing the same paint since I started, so that’s welcome.
Grade - B+ for the grindiness only
Thrall Commands (Sorry not sorry, they are thralls, not followers)
I was concerned that the elimination of the stop command would be a problem. The Defend Here is an improvement. I do like the commands on their screen. I am less enthused that the cursor moves into those commands by default every time I open the screen. It’s not a deal breaker.
EDIT - The leash has been shortened on Defend Here vs Stop. Not really a bad thing, since you can’t run across the map anymore.
Also, a better explanation of what the first line does is needed. I have sort of figured it out, but the whole “Hold, Chase, Withdraw” thing is pretty vague.
Edit - Ahh, this a combo of two sections of the old commands. Guard me, Stand and Defend, etc. I see.

Sorting and ONLY the sorting
I am indifferent to some of the sorting methods. I am not even that opposed to the No Sort option. I preferred the Custom, and that is what I used 100% of the time. However, No Sort would be fine…
EXCEPT - the fact that it reverts to sort by Type (WTH does that mean?) every time I log in is an issue. I had better pick a storage unit and workstation where the sorting is already done the way I want it per type, so that I can move it to No Sort, or it’s going to make a mess. My personal inventory gets re-sorted every time I log in.
I do not like this, Sam I am.

Inventory Movement
The move all, split, and move similar are great.
Take all going to the trigger is just a “get used to it” thing.
I cannot remove a single item of clothing from the thralls anymore. I have to take all - not good.
Precise stacking gone - not good

Workstation Organization
OK, this thing. What the actual $%#@ is this? The armor bench is in sections split by, what exactly? I can’t find anything easily. There is this new thing call the Alphabet. Perhaps someone has heard of it. Essentially, things are listed by the first few letters in the name. It makes listing and finding things simple. I have even proposed to the local school board that we teach it in schools.
Seriously, can we get some sort of explanation as why the sections?

All things considered, this is a good update. I like it in principle, and the hunt is way more interesting than the raid fortress that has no value whatsover (I am not saying this simply because it gives me an excuse to run naked everywhere. I never need an excuse for that). Many of the QOL aspects are vastly improved. There are few tweaks needed, but other than that, nice work.
I have seen threads where there are nothing but complaints, and the “THAT"S IT! I’M DONE!” nonsense. Please, be done. Stop posting. Go away. No one cares.
