I’m being encouraged to read bug report, and I don’t know that this is a bug necessarily. It’s simply really.

The last step is to ‘cripple’ an enemy with either a Pike or a 2HD sword. It does say either/or.
I’ve advanced to a point where I’ve created any/all iron weaps that I need/want but I *did have a question as to whether or not the quest or Journey wanted/wants me to continue to use stone weaponry for this journey to complete.
I’ve fought so many enemies try to get an update (completion), that I’m wondering what the heck I’m doing wrong here.
I did read that the 1st question is always ‘do you have the Journey selected?’ and my reply to that is I didn’t know you could deselect the particular journey that you working on.
Any help would be appreciated. I enjoy this game very much and thank you.

The journey does not actually care about what weapon you use, the requirement is that you use any melee weapon to inflict the Crippled condition on an enemy, which for example with the 2 hander sword is done with heavy attacks (right-click)

You could “deselect” the journey simply by working on something else :slight_smile:
Basically what people mean when they say that is that you can only ever complete the current step of the currently active journey, meaning that you cannot get credit for crippling an enemy if your currently active journey is Thrall taker for example.

I must surely have it deselected. I was surprised to read further and see that others have supplied the ‘crippled’ requirement with bow&arrow/1hs/axe if I read that correctly. Thank you very much!
