These changes are absolutely awful. The NPCs are harder to defeat than ever, combat movement feels terrible and clunky. Not to mention everyone who has learned how to PvP in this game now has to completely re-learn how to PvP in this game without controller style movement how it used to be. (And it’s just going to be a fail fest.)
Were you trying to even out the playing field against the noob vs. the pro by forcing them to both use the same crappy movement? I don’t know what you were thinking but you need to throw in an emergency patch that reverts the change or fire whoever had this bright idea.

As a disinterested observer here, it looks like @Solome has a chip on their shoulder about PvP, and as one myself I can empathize. That doesn’t excuse their escalation, in my opinion, and I do not speak for them.
I think, as a controller player too, there’s a lot of anger about controller-style movement, target lock and any combination thereof. For years, I have been asking for servers with no target lock, because it’s pretty cheesy to be playing OG while someone’s got a laser beam pointed at you.
The only reason I decided to answer to your post is because it was quite a gem in the sea of samey post.
It has all characteristics of an narcissistic behaviour mixed with hurt from probable interactions with not so savoury members of online community and self delusional created in intent to rationalise and support specific decisions and membership in certain communities.
All combined into a vain attempt to place your worth above of the others who you may see as worthless due to their differentiation from your behaviour.

I’m a PS longtime player too. The system is very hard to crack, thus it’s safe from most bad actors. After living life in such an ivory tower, I too was like this. It’s a symptom of the PlayStation being a great platform.
Right now, the development team for Conan (which is less than 10 people) has to deliver content updates every fiscal quarter. It’s why chapters come out every three months and why releases always fall on the final month of a quarter regardless of how buggy or broken they are.
We probably aren’t going to see real investment in Conan Exiles beyond what we’ve been getting. Support is keeping the ship afloat until the next big IP (Dune) is finished.
Yet you falsely combine toxicity of certain players to a specific platform trying to simplify the “enemy” in your eyes by combining it with a platform you ,highly likely, don’t fancy with or without pvpers attached it.
You try to weave a false narrative where everything bad is PC related and everything good is Console but you fail to see that a good portion of those toxic players are your fellow console users.

I’ve played GTA for a decade, first on the PS3. I recently got it for $10 on the PC, and while I can’t carry over my progress from Sony, I once again have a bonerr for the game. It looks amazing and plays like butter, without all the load screens and hangups. But you have to have a good PC. Tradeoffs no matter where you turn, can’t we just stick to disliking each other over Heavy Armor vs Light?
