"We are currently preparing a hotfix with the *aim* of releasing later next week."

Sure you are.

Your game is not playable in the current state. Roll it back.

the problems ingame don’t warrant a rollback imho and it is not going to happen

Enjoy living stuck in a foundation.

Obviously you haven’t lost dozens of thralls because a werehyena attacked your base and killed everything in sight while your tribe was offline. You’d change your mind immediately if that happened to you.

I don’t say it isn’t highly annoying, I am saying there won’t be a rollback for that.
When everything decayed on nemedian foundations, they didn’t
The falling through foundations already existed before the patch btw

I have not previously had a problem as a player falling through a foundation piece. Placed thralls, yes, may times. I’m not saying it has not happened to players before – I don’t know, but right after this update it started happening very often to many players.

My fear is that this is an unsolvable problem. Which is why they’re leaving it off the list of things they might be fixing next week.

well it did exist before and it happened to me and a lot of people on our server before the patch.
Maybe they changed something that makes it happen more frequently, or you were just unlucky.
As the problem itself did exist before the patch, they would have to roll back 2 patches or 3 months.
I’d rather wait for a fix

I believe you. Funcom, of course, sells the building sets – which are clearly not working properly. That seems like a real problem to me.

Oh, yes they do warrant a roll back. They absolutely do.

Unfortunately Funcom probably won’t admit that the update was a disaster and probably won’t apologize for it, and probably won’t do the right thing and roll it back - but they should.

I don’t remember falling through a foundation before the update. After the update I’ve probably fell through my foundations 20-30 times.

Don’t log out on a foundation.

That is a discord all unto it’s self.

I’ve read posts about it in the forum here, but didn’t have the issue till they did the horse storage bug fix on testlive. Now I just can’t log out on any foundation.

Pretty sure I read they may have or was working on a fix.

Nothing in this update comes even marginally close to past disastrous updates where funcom did the least it could in compensation. Does not even come close to meriting a rollback.

Incorrect. Almost everything in this update REQUIRES a roll back. Problem is they won’t do it even though it’s exactly what needs to happen.

How about they FIX the BUG instead? Man, you really are an interesting little feller.

Again, an opinion. I know those things kind of confuse you.

They’ve already said they are working on it, may be in the next update. Do try to keep up.

Was this the recent testlive before the latest update?

That was the hotfix we got on testlive a week or so ago.

You got any idea how long this has been a bug? Probably not, you seem to be a lot like John Snow.

Don’t worry about me - I’m keeping up, and it should have been fixed YEARS ago. “Working on it” is not acceptable.

Well, that makes me hopeful that it is fixable, thank you. From your experience, do they often just ignore bugs that are uncovered in testing and release the update anyway?

The foundation issue, although not a new issue, was extremely uncommon. This update introed a lot of people to it. I didn’t experience it till here just lately. And only on testlive. Don’t have the fall though foundation issue on live. Note: my base is in the same place on both, so not an area issue.

It really feels that way, but it could be report to implement lag.
I think the real issue with testlive; aside from the few that actually do, is a lacking in communication. All of these issues were talked about on the testlive ch4 thread.

That is why I scoffed at the one “known issue”

Incorrect… again. It is common.
