We need the ability to turn off the work bench sound effects

I don’t even put my headphones on most of the time when I play the game because when in base all of the sound effects get annoying after a while. I do the same thing in most games that have too many annoying sound effects.

While I agre the sounds are annoying, yet would feel too unrealistic seeing a bs hammer doing his work totally silent. Its a way to find out when enemy bases have working thralls inside.

What I think FC should do, when there is nothing being crafted, the Thralls would just stay idle, waiting for the next craft, then when we put something to be crafted, they start the animations and the sound.

I agree they are silent when idle. never heard the dancers I don’t wear headphones while i play. don’t do pvp so I don’t need to hear other peoples thralls working lol.

Thralls can be removed from their bench slots when not in use.
I am in the habit of doing this, in PvP, crafting Thralls are the ultimate raid-bait.

oh my and hear I thought the topless dancing thralls were raid bait or maybe a way to distract the raider while you club them over the head like a seal. and chop them up and feed them to your thralls later after you loot them. how do you break into a persons base on pvp servers? i know in ark you can use bombs or toss a monkey over the wall. pretty sure a tame isn’t gonna bust down a wall.

Indeed, thats why it would be a QoL if FC made the work animations play only with active crafting and being idle when nothing is crafted, then we wouldn’t have to worry taking they off the Thrall slot, you know, when you go sleep and leave they working.

Yes it would. But they wont.
Listening to what is inside a building, is critical in PvP.

Explosives! We hear crafting thralls, and then we place bombs.:joy:
However, sometimes it’s more effective to use orbs, or the trebuchet.
