so accident left my horse at the beginning of a temple cause super bad to get in the way so I tell him or her to gaurd near the door and forgot duh it was there went home on it and next day horse was gone tracked it and low and behold he’s at the temple all the way on the other side ( live in redwood isles it was at defense of demon spiders) since u can’t have two mounts follow u I had to move and gaurd him all the way home wow like two hours doing this so I was think mabey a lead like u can drag tralls home so make a lead so I could ride my horse and have another follow u could do it right from the same code as the bindings just make it for pets and or mounts
Hell u could make it where only work pets/ saddle
Or you could have just left the second horse there to find its way back and rode him home.

You know rescue is a thing as well, you could have removed the saddle from one of the horses + taken
whatever it had in its inventory to not lose it and summoned it when you got home from the followers tab.
It is summoned to you but you will lose whatever is in their inventory and equipment slots. It drops in a bag. If not mistaken, you had to be on your own land claim to use the feature as well.

I had no idea this feature existed, and I can see why they lose everything, it could easily be abused as a means of moving massive amounts of mats and loot.

Just to add, the rescues thrall/pet will only spawn on the ground so do it on nice flat area. I did it once in a tree house it spawn below the house, another time it spawn inside the foundation when I was inside a base that was at least 2 foundation high.

You can only use this once a hour (if you do not get in combat for 10 minutes, nor the follower). I used this feature to pull my clan leader’s pets from the official server to my base when his base decayed instead of leaving an army of greater bears and such hanging around. Definitely much easier than dragging them back - a 16 zone block trek round trip was very time consuming.
I initially dragged the thralls back which took me a couple of weeks (since did one or two runs when I felt like spending or wasting my time doing so). Then it took a couple of days of logging in and out each hour to pull one pet. I killed off the ones I did not care about at the end.
