It doesn’t look out of place or funny if you play as a woman. Just sayin.
@Bosn If you are talking about follower thrall dancers or AI mechanics…then fine. Those are under community scrutiny as being Underdeveloped properly. Also CE has a strange ‘Armour Value’ and ‘Hot/Cold Value’ concept that I have not quite figured out yet…not many have. Makes no sense in many cases.
When you describe…
You are doing yourself no favors. I play both Female and Male…but prefer Female…and Light/Medium Skirmisher usually. So I get the benefit of wearing light clothing and leathers. When in a group I sometimes simply play nude and stay as agile as possible. I can climb and dodge like nobody’s business. So…in YOUR words you are going to slander My Character as a Hardcore-Gimp Sexualized Male Downtrodden Slave Female? <= I added extra ‘context’ words.
I gave research information with plenty of pics. You gave pics with dancer animations in Male Form only…and anyone understands that Males wanting to ‘Dance’ Exotic moves will learn from Females on how to do so…Exotically. Which has nothing to do with BDSM anyhow…nor the Clothing/Leathers they wear.
And then you have the Audacity to tell us to Lay Off the Drama? Really? Time to lay down the glove and call you out as a troll monger to keep bumping post. Which unfortunately I just did. ![]()
@Krix, I am not talking about dancers really as they are not really playable characters/models in the game. I merely used the dancer to pose the armors in a way that might happen in-game (though Braggi the Bold is a legit playable armor as-is). As you stated you find yourselves in all sorts of poses in the game and so it’s easy to distract when so absurd.
As for the rest of your comments, I didn’t even see a question or point?
Our cultural sensitivities plays little value in the exiled lands. If a man wishes to dance like a woman, he has earned the right to do so, without shame, for he has survived long enough to afford doing so.
I once saw a film where there is this irish guy, wearing a brides costume, and went to a party. Anyone who ridiculed him, got beaten up and robbed by him and his thugs.
Later that day, the irish guy went to a shooting range, bride costume and all, with smeared lipstick, and practiced shooting.
That is the modern equivalent of the exiled lands.
@Halc, Give me a break, this isn’t about human rights. This is about a simple game filter to let people see whatever level of detail they want. Again, with the drama.
All I’m saying is if devs intend to do this sort of thing to a mainstream game, maybe they should offer a way to dial it back. – Hell they could meet us halfway right now by simply offering an archer armor that doesn’t make our characters look and move as a pedophile.
agree, the game is for pervs, plain and simple lol
They do. It’s called an ESRB “R” rating.
You can’t expect all products to cater to everyone, or they can’t specialize.
How do you expect the filter to work anyway? Pixel Mosaic? Toggleable armor…studded sack mode, vs nice looking mode?
@Halc, lol very simple. You make two pair of pants to offer a non ■■■-less chaps version.
So your wanting to just be able to toggle the appearance of other people’s armor?
@Halc, Implementation is up to the devs. Do you really not think it’s odd to NOT have a non-BDSM armor option in some cases? All they had to do was make it a choice.
I just think it’s odd that as a group of three people typically playing we’re basically pushed away from certain armors (and maybe even that entire build type really to avoid it) simply because we don’t want to see them visually. The archer example is the easiest since if you want that build you’re pretty much stuck with something insane at any progress level.
I think people take issue to you involving a sub-culture. Drama begets drama. Don’t act so surprised. Your practically saying something equivalent to: “Why aren’t there any Burka’s in this game? Have the women no shame? I want the option to not see their faces.”
@Halc, As outrages as Conan was visually you are taking it further than I. I’m drawing my context from like the movies, not ISIS.
@Halc, Yea and done
Enjoy being ridiculed further. I don’t even have to participate in this hilarity.
Well sandstorm mask is probably close enough to a Burka, probably covers more too… (Though the Zamorian thief hood is probably pretty close too…)
Wait! Where’s the complaint about the boob and dong sliders???
@OP here’s your filter:

Do yourself a favor, Funcom a favor, and the rest of us a favor. Seriously, you’re not even in a minority on this, you’re alone. Absolutely alone. This thread isn’t even worth the 20 seconds for a dev to even look at.
@Tae, Drama. It isn’t even in dispute that a non-BDSM armor choice would be the mainstream option. It’s such a tiny cross-section of players and not even relevant to the real context of Conan.
I think it’s an easily corrected mistake, especially in the context of a professional/for-profit video game dev in 2018. They could steer towards their mainstream base of players and so probably make more money by simply losing this strange tangent or at least offering a non-BDSM option at each step of the way. It just hits so early in the game too, it has to have caused damage to their user base. – Honestly, I think they know this because the DLC is going to the mainstream. They just need to correct the core game.
what’s is your problem with the shemite clothes ? or even the relic hunter one ?
Oh my god, so COOL, you can enslave ppl here, decapitate them, eat their flesh, sacrifice them, so AWESOME!!
Hold on…
WAIT A MINUTE…
WTF IS THIS???
THIS ARMOR SHOWS SKIN??? UNACCEPTABLE! CHLDREN ARE PLAYING THIS GAME!! HOW COULD YOU???!
Jesus, when will you snowflakes die out as a species?..
