I concur - the ‘city life’ features were one of the things I wanted the most that got me to buy this when it came out. I love building and will make barracks and all sorts of buildings regardless but I always wanted them to be more than set-dressing.

Pretty sure the reason FC hasn’t done this is if they aren’t careful, adding sex may open them up to being re-evaluated by the ESRB, and an AO only is a death sentence (I wish it wasn’t, just the way it is).
There’s a mod for that. And there’s plenty of private servers that use that mod.
ESRB already has them rated as M+ even on console. I remind you there are plenty of games on console that are graphic. For instance one of the Hitman games you go into a s ex club where females are chained to beds while being r aped.
Some publishers are willing to take the risk. Others are not.
Additionally, I don’t think it’s enough of a feature that Funcom wants to spend unnecessary dev time on it It’s the kinda thing best left to modders–from a business standpoint. Less liability, more dev time on other features.
Id be happy with a spyglass added as a tool.
But to be optimistic, Dagon religion, PvP restriction that set other players as either non-combatant or enemy nameplate, Clan alliance system, snake pet, religion based structures and placeables, crossbows, ballistas, rafts that can be built on, stability drop rate changed from 20 per sq to 10 per sq. Just to be a wishful thinker.
