Ok so, I fixed the Battleye nonsense, I learned how to reload that. Now I have a new problem… High ping…
Apparently I cannot play on adult sites because my ping is too high for the “official” servers…
I never knew this would be an issue. This is getting ridiculous, lol no wonder this game was on sale lol
Can I reduce my ping or are there servers that have high ping and battleye and are fully adult in content?
Can anyone recommend a server that fits those criteria???

You can try the direct connect button. You will need to find the IP:Port value online. I play on this server, and use this method to connect. I would otherwise never be able to connect due to inflated pings. Once online, use ~ key and type ‘ToggleDebugHUD’ to see the actual server ping time. mine is normally about 1/3 the value shown in the server browser.
They’re working on this issue, but until it is resolved, you can try @Jimoacha’s workaround. Another workaround you can try is to select a server and favorite it. Then next time you load the server listings, select the dropdown box to filter by favorites as quickly as you can. This is the method that I usually use.

I’m still seeing high pings (above threshold of 140) for the official server #1500 I play on. Mid day on a weekday. If I direct connect, no problems - game plays fine and in game ping is low. Mostly of course I get the ‘Lost online connection’ bug. But once in a while, this doesn’t happen, and I can use the direct connection button to sign in. This is getting really, really old now Funcom. I’ve submitted many bug reports, screenshots, logs but no fix has come in the last three patches.
still not fix to this high ping on servers, i was getting 40-60 on official server #1746 now i its 80-9999
Searry, sorry for the issue and I still get the 999s sometimes, both in live and testlive.
As far as the 80, I can offer nothing but sympathy since my normal ping is 90-100 700km from me.
As to the 999s, I now ignore them and log into the dedicated server just fine. It appears to be a visual error in my case. Use @Jimoacha’s method above if that gives you problems.

Hey I was getting super high pings also. What I ended up doing is once the server list finishes generating, hit the refresh button. It will generate the list over again usually with a lower ping. It just takes like 2-3 minutes for it all to load which is really annoying.
