45 degree-cut foundations/wedges
“water blocks” - for moats, sewers, pools, etc. mirky or clear. lots of uses
directional indicators, esp for foundations, walls, ceilings
I completely agree! I would run around the map making chicken noises, flapping my elbows.
Rotating raid times on servers so people who work nights have a chance to avenge themselves… that would be great.
Add “smart” weapon choices to AI thralls so they can use ‘sharp’ weapons on animals (like animal purges) and blunted weapons (truncheons, blunted arrows) on human NPCs (like human in Purges). Give us the option to set thralls to be able to have a varied attack (because sometimes a human NPC is not worth capturing – kill it – while other times it is – stun it).
Apart from the obvious bug fixes and balancing, I want to see 2 things:
- More viable slutty armors. Yes, you heard me. We’ve got tons of knight/barbarian outfits already but only a few revealing outfits which are usable in combat. In fact only one - darfari set. This is a fantasy game and armor bikinis are a must have.
- More effective ways to destroy buildings. Currently the time and effort that goes into building and destroying is way too unbalanced in favour of building.
Actually, no. We already have more than enough armors that make no sense. In Robert E. Howard’s Conan stories, people were using practical armors based on real world historical armors. 1970’s over-sexualized fantasy art just became mainstream later. Now, I have nothing against sexy art, but please let armors look like they’re designed for protection, not seduction.
New hairstyles, especially Viking braid styles!
I would like trashier looking armor for the femmes as well… this is supposed to be sword and sorcery which should have plenty of oiled up babes in less than logical armor… body oil of weapon slipping…
Boo. Boris Valejo and Frank Frazetta defined sword and sorcery for us in its oh so lovely form. REH was not exactly descriptive on female clothing… (more than once it was ripped off before a beating…)
Don’t like it - don’t use it. Nobody is forcing you.
Unfortunately this situation does not come out to polar values: like=use <------> dislike=don’t use.
In an open-world multiplayer environment, we must live with the choices of other exiles. If we start seeing more impossible-to-protect bare skin, not accompanied by some ethereal magic glow, we begin to lose the illusion of the game world. Thus this choice is no longer available to us, and we are forced to either endure the broken illusion or leave the game. That’s where the system falls apart.
Ah yes, sorry I forgot about immersion of guys running around in pink/white furs and crafting marble castles out of dirt. Besides, I didn’t ask for glows on armor. I just want more revealing sets, which don’t necessary have to be heavy or even medium.
All I’m asking is that they look nice, they’re dye-able, have temperature resistances and they add stats. The perfect example of what Funcom did right in this territory was the recent Derketo DLC jewelry. It gives pretty much no defence but if you wear the golden chest and weist with the rest made of silver, you get +5str and +4 agi. Excellent stats and the look is great (What I’m using ever since the DLC came out, but I want more options of similar stuff)
Let’s not move the goalposts here, I replied to your assertion that @Kapoteeni should simply avert his eyes.
Most players wouldn’t last two minutes in The Mounds in the spangly bikini (Good Light), which was how I see Kapoteeni’s point: on the flip side (Heavy) there are already armors that break the illusion. Substantially. And I’m not talking about furs, which actually have value against slashing and cutting weapons, I’m speaking of the bare skin. Anybody with even a lick of knife training would bleed out a guy in Guardian in an instant, with as little as a scalpel. And this is one of our newer armors.
Being able to drag thralls via horse. In fact if we could load multiples up that would be awesome. It’s also precedent on reality and far more realistic than dragging them by hand.
We need a potion or fodder for pets that rerolls their perks. It would be like the yellow lotus potion, but the perks are still RNG.
Reference: Pets with archer perks are nerfs!
I would like to see a music sounds pack added to game, where as player can assign sounds to certain aspects. Like say your kitchen, or a party room. It can be a DLC which I purchase them all any way.
You know something special for the ones that would buy the DLC. City life sounds, or special drum noises etc. To make things more Immersive. Oh and a canoe you could paddle faster than swimming would be great too.
I would like to see a command system for followers, better ai, revamp of all creatures and give them new interesting fighting mechanics. 150 man servers for the new map, new map to be a big grasslands/snowy map (similar to northern exiled lands), but even more grand and spectacular. Crossplay between playstation/xbox/pc
