Personally, I’d like a Sprint attack and a jump attack in the game,

Maybe the ability to swing 1 arm weapons while climbing and to mine while climbing

Sharks! And swimming crocodiles that attack in water!

And finally, a better merchant menu. Just fleshed out a bit to make them more rewarding and to feel more real. Have them have multiple things to select, unique weapons, varying upgrade kits and clothes, unique food, a way to sell things to them, the whole nine yards.

Conan is public domain until someone buys the rights, like all things artistic. It goes by the death of who owns the rights, isn’t it 17 or 30 years? Or less?

The ability to dye our buildings. Yep. Odd concept but that would be cool and bring a whole new level of camoflauge. Also spiral stairs and better wedge pieces. Thralls that play instruments , music boxes and more chimes.

First i would like to thank all the team for the great works you have done !! I have more the 2500 hour on the game and it is quite a long time. You maid a great work ! you still have some to do 
 still some bugs, but well if we start comparing with others you are THE BEST of the univers !!

What would you like to see added to the game in 2020?

BIGGER MAP + lot of diferents type of traps + horro decoration + some ia base that get bigger and sent more purge if not destroyed + be able to build a boat.
the best would be Conan graphique, mecanic, environment + Atlass map and boat construction.

And please for the coop Conan , that player can go very far from the owner.

if Conan team would work in a game like Heat the game would sells a lot 
you have the power, you make a Conan like the witcher 3 and you win lot of money. ok that is out of subject


oh and i agree that you should banned cheaters, does guy come to a server use all the glich of the game and destroy a base of 6 month work in 20 minutes
but of course they would say it is not my faut that the game have glich

a code lock for ur boxes so team members cant get into ur personal boxes, more traps for sure! like trip wire traps/explosives, fall traps, maybe be able to dig just a bit to make trenches for traps and/or drawbridges to help defend ur base from players and purge, small boats so if u build on a small island faster transport, had more ideas but cant remember so will add more later

  1. . Player Economy System

I totally get this may be way too hard but I would love to see a strong player economy on the server. I love the concept of making coins and interacting with NPC Merchants. I would love the ability to trade with other players via Thrall Merchants. I play on XBox but have read about creating merchants in AoC. It would be awesome to be able to setup a Player Store, where I can list items for sale. Sell them for coin or trading for other goods. I think it could also add a level to seiges, where you attempt to raid the other palyer’s store.

  1. Thrall Work Hours

Building slightly off the idea above, the ability to send Thralls on task. I would be really cool to be able to setup a caravan, taking gear to a player you are trading with. It could give the opportunity for players to try and raid your caravan. Along with this concept, be able to send thralls on basic errands such as hunt animals that come within a vicinity of where they are guarding, loot hide or meat from them, have bearer thralls transfer goods between loot crates. I get this is a delicate balance as it could have significant impact on server performance and we do not want to automate too much.

I would also like to see the weird camera angle bugs to be eliminated.

With a new map thing, maybe you could make it an entirely new map, the way ARK functions?

I mean, keep the traditional Exiles map we have now. But maybe add an entirely new map. If only the current played map is loaded, you could have others that don’t load unless you go to actively play in one.

Even better if we could have one character per map the way ARK allows.

But reusing assets so it shouldn’t add a heavy load to the game. Online servers could be set for specific maps, while offline players could just start up a save on a particular map and character.

This way we could get more variety in landscape. We could get a map that was primarily volcano/snowfields with a winter theme from the start. Easy to craft starting cold resist gear, and some things to protect against cold at lower levels, to compensate.

Maybe another map with more in the way of islands and water. Since we have mounts, boats seem like a plausible addition.

I would think that since only one map is being loaded, whether offline or online, it shouldn’t stress the system any more than we already have.

The only new map I am looking forward to is one that can handle 200-300 players at once the way Rust does it.

Lol, and if you believe that one I’ll tell you another! Possums can’t hang from their tails and alligators can’t bite underwater.

Stable game and better bug fixing & testing, at least 30 FPS on consoles.

If you start with the above, you might make Conan better again. But the above mission is impossible already for you guys in my opinion (in my experience).

I will always back anything that makes the economy of the game mean something. Upkeep should be a thing. Just use the thrall pot blueprint, and have it upkeep a certain area (highlight a bubble of coverage when you interact with it) . Make the decay actually the HP decreasing of the stuff getting lower by 2 da intervals. IE, 90% health left after 2 days, 75% left after 4 days, 50% left after 6 and then 10% health left after 8. Decays after 10.

For QoL reasons keep it simple, T3 requires hardened brick (even black ice pieces),T2 brick, and T1 stone. Vaults require steel reinforcements, map rooms corrupted stone, chests iron reinforcements. Improved Work stations shaped wood, and normal stations wood. Just having it be 1 piece per item, per stage (every 2 days is a stage) needed to “repair” keep would keep it simple and clean. If you didn’t put enough it would not trigger, ie if the pot showed i needed 500 hardened brick to repair everything, then if i only put in 499, it wouldn’t activate. Keeps some of the math on what to and not to repair out of it. And it will not auto feed. It would work like zeal, in that i have to craft the repairs as an item that i cannot take off of station. to avoid cheesing it, it woudl have a decay timer of 48 hours after “craffting”.

Followers AI improvements are, in my opinion as someone who has run a ‘top X in the world’ private PvP server for over a year now, hands down THE MOST IMPORTANT change that can be made to help this game.

Competitive sandbox games are by their very nature taxing on sustained player numbers because players struggle against one another and eventually someone has to lose.

Players try their best not to lose by building smart bases, and then defending them with what’s available.

What’s presently available isn’t good enough, no matter how overpowered it is stats-wise.

Right now, followers are way out of balance with everything else in the game, from enemy NPCs to opposing players. This makes sense, because they’re so easily outsmarted, with their combat value very simply mitigated, if not outright avoided.

Archers need to be able to shoot as far as a player can. All thralls and pets need to be able to climb and jump off of things - just as a player could.

I cannot tell you how many hundred-hour-build-time mega fortresses I’ve seen raided into the dust while an army of guards stands by soaking up arrows without ever offering an attack because the raider managed to stand in an area that had a slightly different height that the follower AI couldn’t path over in order to get to grips with their aggressor.

People build elaborate bases and try their best to defend them with pets and thralls - the acquisition of which is arguably one of the cornerstone mechanics of the game - only to see them act as little more than speed bumps in defending their bases in the event of an inevitable attack.

Because their AI is presently thoroughly lacking.

Just for general information. Conan is not public domain. The rights are owned by Cabinet Entertainment. Conan has been thralled to alot of people since his creator Robert E. Howard (sorry it really wasn’t Crom
(don’t hurt me! ) ) committed suicide.

Red Sonja, under the company name of Red Sonja LLC, as of 2006 leases the rights to the Red Sonya/Sonja character from Paradox entertainment which is now Cabinet Entertainment. That info can be found in the Red Sonja wiki under legal issues.

I don’t know who Funcom answers to
 theoretically it’s Cabinet. So theoretically we could see our red haired hyrakian heroine in the game. So I say 
 BIKINI ARMOR for a win!

  2. Character appearance change in game, do it full appearance change with magic or just realistic hair/makeup change. But by Crom, do it!
  3. Better purge as a pve game mechanic, more dangerous it would add a big chunk of replayability to the game.
