The Conan Devkit is downloaded from the Epic Store and you can use it offline. Not a worry either.
Although I speak only for PC users, consoles are screwed if Funcom gives up on Exiles.
Hopefully I’m not jynx’ing it but at least the servers appear to be back to working normally now.
I’m on console. I’ve been this close to buy a new PC just to play exiles with mods and have some more options to play with. Funcom should say something soon before the end of the year hopefully.
Maybe if everyone uses enough profanity on these forums someone from Funcom will answer.

At least something is happening behind the scenes. Which is definitely good news. Update is also mentioned in Funcom launcher. Even better.
But no activity in this Forum. Have they lost their admin keys…
conan devkit is not dependent on funcom servers. it only connects to steam workshop, and could still function if they pulled workshop support as we could just cook our mods and upload the pak files to nexus or somesuch.
worst case scenario would be if tencent/funcom removed devkit from epic games store, and updated devkit eula to say “you cant use this anymore” which would make modding go totally underground. i think it’s very unlikely.
Just out of interest, after seeing a post way up above from 2024 in this thread saying Dune only had 2x the player count compared to Conan Exiles at the time, I thought, hmmmm wonder what the comparison is now at the ass end of 2025? According to Steam charts right now, 30/11/2025:
Dune: 7967 players - 24 hour peak 8467
Conan Exiles: 8080 players - 24 hour peak 8517
Says it all.
And that’s with a Conan community that has been all but abandoned, with no interaction on the forums even from unpaid volunteers (if I missed an interaction, I apologise), with vague announcements that an update is coming some time in December, and promising things in that update that I have not heard a single person ask for, while simultaneously not mentioning a single major bug fix. Pretty damn sure not one bug fix was mentioned (aside from the general “will include bug fixes”). Neither was any additional content for the new heroes system or bars or….
Just “improvements” to crafting that we know we can 100% guarantee will cause MORE bugs.
What happened to “we’re going to focus on fixing bugs”?
I’d say the many mods for CE is the reason for its longevity.
It’s much much worse, all the official servers are lagging a lot, and because of their server settings, you cant connect if you get dropped till they’re fixed, as you’ll have triple digit ping. I’ve been unable to reconnect on 1726 after 5 hours!

just becuse its 1 december dosent mean we will get any news right away.
As far as I can tell Devkit changelog hasn’t been released yet, so we’re still 1-2 weeks before the update.
This is assuming that 1. FC is still giving modders time to make necessary changes to their mods and 2. FC is still honouring a longer lead time.
I don’t think “funcom” and “honor” need to be int he same sentence.
Yeah I know that, but I still want to know.
Mods are the only reason I play this game. I’m kind of holding my breath right now.
Remember when they launched that game breaking update immediately before Crommas? Like close to 24th December I think? Then we all had to wait until they came back from holidays?
They’d NEVER do that again…. right? RIGHT?! 
In the sad but true dept. there’s probably a number of CE players at this point who’d take any update at all.
Now I’m pondering Suicidal Mice as my next clan name…
It’s hopefully some good news and updates and new content soon, or I’ll have no option but to move from console to PC so I can use Mods and continue playing with new things.
Bad news is my PC is over 10 years old. 
I’d have to get a new one, just to play CE.
