Can’t find any references to obsidian ore locations, just things that require it.
I haven’t looked yet, but i suspect the isle of dusk (volcanic region) might be worth a look…
The First Men (or whatever they are called) have it as loot. Not a lot and you don’t find nodes to mine.
You’re better off killing the Grey Ones, finding the Obsidian Ores on them, or better to pick up the weapons they drop and then use dismantling bench to get Composite Obsidian Ores to save the trouble.

That’s what i do, when i’m in kill mod, i take a thrall and go kill grey ones, pick-up as many weapons i can carry, and break them down. It’s the easiest way. And i good way to level thralls.
